Even if Dak threw the TD there, does this defense stop the Chargers and get us the ball back down 22-12 or 22-14 depending on the two point try?

Not defending Daks' play (he's been horrific), but his picks today came with the game already lost, in my opinion.

No, the defense doesn’t stop them.

Also, people bring up him not throwing to Witten. (There was pressure and he was scrambling though).

But they don’t mention that Dak threw a good ball to Dez Bryant a couple plays before in the end zone.

Actually Dak threw the ball exactly where some people have been clamoring for him to throw one for Dez. It was a well thrown ball that Dez has every opportunity to make a play on.

What happened? Dez dropped it.

The 15 million WR got a pass that everybody likes to say, Dak should throw for him. And what happens? Dropped TD.

Dak has been playin terrible. I readily admit to it. But the receivers have been as well. It’s not just him. It’s all of them.

8 Turnovers for Dak in 3 weeks. This team has a ton of concerns on both sides of the ball right now & sadly Dak has become one of the bigger ones.

Amazingly, it has coincided with teams no longer fearing our running game. It's almost as if they're only focusing on stopping the pass and they'll live with whatever Morris and Rod Smith can muster.

8 games with Zeke: 28 points per game

3 games without Zeke: 7 points per game

Translation - It doesn't exist.

When did i say I was jumping ship? Just pointing out your lie, in an attempt to pamper Dak's bad performance as of late.

You might want to review the back end of the 2010 season for some truly epic suckage from Romo.

I’ve stated NUMEROUS times Dak sucked today and needs to be much better. However, in three decades of watching football, including Romo’s turbulent career, I’ve learned that there will be ups and downs particularly for QBs. I’ve also learned that fans are incredibly fickle and have a serious case of “the grass is greener” syndrome. I’ve learned that things don’t happen in a vacuum and you need a suitable sample size.

You can continue your knee-jerk, emotional and irrational opinions as you see fit. I’ve also learned to accept those types of fans.

Agree 100 percent. Dez Bryant is the highest paid player on this team and he hasn't had a 100 yard game since last November against the Steelers.

Shaky Dak can win. Terrible Dak cannot.

Maybe Zeke wouldn't have changed any of the past three outcomes, but this offense has simply not adjusted to playing without him. That's 75 percent on the coaches and the rest on Prescott and the offensive line- which has also stunk.

If Dak craps the bed every time he has to play without the best RB in the league standing behind him............I don’t give a second contract for that.

Just saying if you want $100 mill contract as a QB you got to win games own your own. Aaron Rogers can win you 10 games playing with a bunch of practice squad guys, that is what the great ones do

When Zeke went out. Everyone knew that the rest of the team needed to step up without him.

Dak hasn’t stepped up.

Dez hasn’t stepped up.

Witten hasn’t.

Williams hasn’t.

Butler hasn’t.

The OL hasn’t.

Nobody on the offense has stepped up without Zeke. The QB is included in that. But nobody else has either.

Did you guys even noticed how open the Chargers receivers were compare to ours?
Even when getting blitzed, Rivers had a guy streaking by all alone right in front of him.

Dak is sucking now and he might not be the long term answer but how can you really evaluate him fairly when he doesn't have much to throw to?

Talented and aggressive fronts the past three weeks. Zeke would've helped but not cured what ails this team

Truthfully, the fact we only scored 28 vs KC was troubling. Because that teams defense is terrible. They kept us in check for a good amount of time w Zeke who had only 93 yards on 27 carries.

These games were lost in August

I call BS. Witten was wide open in that pick 6. He never goes down the field, his eyes immediately go to the outlet pass.

He has clearly regressed.
Last week he was going down field and ignored his outlet.

Lol....yah those great 8-8 years. How pathetic are you?

I'm not sure the response for this, but the point I was making is that we do not feel like a team that is competing. And you would hope that if you have at the very least your starting QB in the game, you have a chance to win any game as he is the leader of the offense.
Right now, with our starting QB in tact, and the current scheme, we look like a team just trying to stay afloat with a Weeden, or a Tom Savage type player. We are going through one of the worst offensive stretches of our franchise history offensively. I agreed with OP that this is no where close to the competitiveness of our team during the 8-8 years.

Witten was open but the pass rush was already there making the pass to Witten unlikely.

Watch the other 29 pass attempts. Nobody is getting open because we don't have a speed WR to threaten teams deep and that doesn't loosen up undernath coverage for Beasley and Witten. And if I see another all 6 route pass play I may just throw my TV out the window.

I think Dak's accuracy has regressed a bit, but we are basically struggling to get him the pass protection and get receivers open.

We basically use our Z receiver like a TE and are clueless on how we want to use Dez. Why we keep having Witten run routes short of the first down marker is beyond me. It's typical Garrett...he builds a team on a house of cards and when there's a kink in the chain he has no answer for it.

Give me a break.. you keep throwing it.. once in a blue moon perfect doesn’t establish any rhythm
