Dak joins Aikman and Staubach as the only QBs in Cowboys history to record 80+ wins as a starter

He's tied 2nd in the league in Touchdowns. He's above Drake Maye (MVP frontrunner) playing one less game.

Not sure how anyone can have him outside the Top 6..... or you just hate him. In that case what can we do.
:hammer:

It's so funny watching the daily Dak Mental Gymnasitics competition.

The same group telling you it's a team game and that's why we lose are the same ones bragging on "Dak's 80 wins."

AC is about to nail the Triple Lindy as we speak...
"QB wins" has always been a very weird stat to me.
Certainly a relatively new thing.

I think, on average, he's playing really well this year.

Fwiw though, he and Maye both have 22 total TDs

It's very weird to people except for when they hang the losses the losing records on the quarterbacks the the playoff records just hung on the quarterbacks and the head coach What about the rest of the guys I mean aren't there 53 players on the roster There's a whole big coaching step but somehow records are hung on quarterbacks and head coaches and not anyone else who happened to be the bigger part and the bigger reasons they lose games i've always found that very odd it is very weird..

That's why this is a team game whether it's good bad or indifferent these records belong to the teams who should own them whatever year that was that's a team thing. I did it having a great quarterback matched with a great head coach and coaching staff are usually the keys to success but there's a lot of things in there that create problems like this year our quarterback I mean we should be like in my opinion like 7 and 3 right now if if we had a defense that's not his fault but they'll hang this year on him they'll hang any losses on him.

Yeah I think the quarterback unjustifiably gets all the credit and all the criticism but he shouldn't....

You're playing with fire. I was torched for simply pointing out the respective length of regular-seasons played by Staubach, Aikman, and Prescott. Now, you want to introduce Romo into the mix?

That's playing with nitroglycerin. You're a brave soul, sir.
The funny thing is...the people that get most riled up when you mention Romo (hello cmac)...

mention Romo the most.

One of those rare perfect ironies.

You can talk about Romo on THEIR terms.

Oh, I agree.
Gate swings both ways.
I think its weird regardless.

You can compare how players played but not the overall teams.

I will say this, if someone thinks QB losses are real then they have to credit QB win.
It goes the other way too.....can't say "team game" and then post "QB wins" (or QB losses stats.

Everyone knows Dak broke all those records in garbage time. Just like his 80 garbage wins.

SARCASIM
Barking up the wrong tree, bro. I'm good with Dak. I think he can play very inconsistent, sometimes.

If you're gonna resond to my comment...maybe help AC answer the question!

Show me hatin on Dak's record. SHow everyone! MAybe I can clarify it for you. Or if you find it...and it's real hate...I'll admit it. Let's make the deal.

I feel for the young fans who never got see Roger play on a weekly basis and in the playoffs. Once in a lifetime QB.
yeah even in his last game against the Lams, I always figured he would pull it out for us. Sad that Jackie Smith deprived him of a back to back SB

"But, we must win. We Will win. Win is the name of the game." - Jerry Dumbo GM Jones

So go win. As of know Dak and Jerry have not won or even got to a NFC Championship game let alone a Super Bowl.

Until they have got to at least the heights of Conference Championship games. Please do not compare no Cowboys QB in the Jerry Dumbo GM Jones era (after Jimmy Johnson crew was gone) to Staubach or Aikman.

Do you know that every full season starting QB from 1964 for Landry and Johnson either went to a Conference Championship/NFL championship, went to Super Bow. and or won a Super Bowl. Meredith, Morton, Staubach, White, and Aikman.

When the regular season wins get you wins in December, January, and February, that's when you look at the number of wins for a Dallas Cowboys QB.

Stats are fine. SB wins are better.

And thats why i feel that Trent Dilfer and Nick Foles should be placed in higher regards than Marino, Kelly, and a whole host of other quarterbacks who have never won a Superbowl.

10x the scrambler and gunslinger that Romo fans seem to remember, and all the Leadership and Toughness of Aikman and Dak. I doubt there will ever be a Cowboys QB as great as him. Have to win the game, down by 2 scores, no other QB I would rather have in their prime.
Joe Cool would be the other choice to make

and that tells everyone all they need to know about you

Being the classy guy he always was, Roger from right after the game to this day said he should have thrown a better pass

Even though it hit Smith right in the hands

I always had great Sympathy for Jackie Smith
had a HOF career but all anyone remembers is the one he dropped

Well I wasn't the one who made up Superbowls as a quarterback stat or measurement of how good a quarterback is on this board.

Im just trying to stay within the guidelines of their narratives.

Oh yeah.... since you believe you're the spokesperson for "everyone", go tell everyone I said wassup lil bro.

Preciate cha!!!
