Dak joins Aikman and Staubach as the only QBs in Cowboys history to record 80+ wins as a starter

Agreed no MVP.... UNLESS he takes us for consecutive wins against Eagles, Chieafs and Lions and we snaek into the playoffs. Then we might have a genuine discussion. Other than that, hell even WITH that, it's a longshot.

Go Cowboys!!
It is extremely rare whenever I make any prediction about anything (personal superstition), but I think it will be impossible for Dak Prescott to win league MVP even if: a) Dallas went undefeated down the stretch and b) did so impressively. The honor is an acknowledgment after a full regular season review.

I highly doubt current frontrunners like Josh Allen, Matthew Stafford, Drake Maye, or even Jonathan Taylor will be caught and overtaken in the minds of the AP voters. It would be necessary for their teams to implode from this point forward. Usually established frontrunners, who do not encounter speedbumps late in the season, will coast to the final award vote.

Nothing's impossible though. Prescott could end up in the final grouping. Then it will be a matter of witnessing the voters' five-round breakdown of total points for each candidate. That would prove very interesting.

I could not care any less about individual awards.

Glad we don't have to waste anytime even discussing Defensive MVP anymore.

That's not how we rate our QBs for the Cowboys.

Regular season games are like qualifying rounds to us.

Roger has two rings. Troy has three. How many does Dak have?

Dak hasn't accomplished anything close to the other two. He's not even in the race.

As a matter of fact, winning more regular season games is proof that Dak was given ample opportunity and so his lack of success is even more revealing.

I dislike saying that, but let's keep it real. Dak is my QB but it's time to take all his regular season success and cash them all in for something meaningful.

I want to see it. The first QB voted MVP who did not beat a team with a record above .500. This forum would implode.

jmo. Dak is a very good QB, but he will never be considered great by me unless he wins a Super Bowl. Again, jmo, fwiw.
