Why? His salary is guaranteed and they have no leverage in negotiating his next contract which they will do 100%.

Yes but you're also comparing someone who has been in the league for 16 years to someone who is in his sixth year (and missed most of one of those due to injury). So the book on Dak is not yet written. All elite QB's have bad games; the fact that some may have won a Super Bowl in the past doesn't absolve them of blame or make the bad game any less bad. All it does is help some people sleep better at night.
You're right, but until Dak actually does something he's not going to be treated as if he's untouchable. Whether it be this year or year 16, that luxury that guys like Brady and Rodgers have is something they have earned by being winners and performing in big moments, it's wasn't just given to them.

The root of the problem has been our OL. Ever since Tyron went out three weeks ago it’s fallen apart. We can’t pass protect or run block. It hasn’t all been on Dak.

LoL. On his list from 1-10,000 of things to do, Dak gaining our trust is a no show.

Dak has played like absolute **** in two of his last three games. That isn't how we should want our 40 million a year QB to perform. We can pass the Denver game off as an anomaly but this time? Hard to defend the man.

How does he regain our trust? Win some games that matter. Its been like six years. We are staring at 11-6 in the face when this season felt like a 14 or 13 win season. I'm losing faith in Dak and my son is too!!!!!!!

Get the Falcons back in Big D ASAP......he will be great against teams of this caliber and add to that home field which is most important for Dak.
Now remember every other player on our team must be playing at 110% or we just might lose....

And what has dak won in the last six?

He's won two playoff games, a feat which had only been done once in the last 18 years before he got to Dallas.

Why don't we let him finish more than six seasons before we decide his fate? It took Peyton Manning nine years to win his first Super Bowl. The story on Dak is hardly written yet, despite how badly you want it to be.

7-3 with 2 of the 3 losses coming in the last 3 weeks against formidable teams (Broncos aren’t even formidable to be honest). Our offense scored 16 and 9 in those games (16 being in garbage time). That is a cause for concern.
It is a cause for concern...but he said Dak needs to change the culture and I asked him what type of culture change do you expect him to be able to change?

I’m sure Dak cares more about what his teammates think and probably couldn’t care less about what any poster here thinks.

Ok stop. I'm not a Dak apologist, so I can't comment on the Denver game. But the KC game, he was under constant assault! You're not winning a game like that and I don't care who your QB is. I've watched hall of fame QBs like Montana and Peyton Manning crap the bed under those circumstances. Literally lose by 30-40 points in the playoffs due to being under pressure. We're not beating a team when we're losing that bad at the LOS.

hes right i mean 2 of the 3 games were dak more then any other issues.
But when he does make the strong, decisive, accurate throw... the dang WR needs to catch and secure the ball. Team sport.

He shouldn't be untouchable. He's open to criticism. But it seems like anytime he has a bad game people try to turn it into some larger big picture admonishment on his status as a top-tier QB. All these guys have bad games. Josh Allen just got paid more than Dak and put up 3 straight weeks of stinkers. Somehow I doubt Bills fans are as irrational about that as people here are, though.

Our trust has nothing to do with it, the Joneses trust him to the tune of 160M so that's done.

5 sacks, 2 picks and 2 fumbles, 1 lost, will get any QB rained on but we'd better hope that was not a reveal on that OL because that is the real problem with this team.

Missing players is not an excuse, it is a reason. And Prescott was off and making questionable throws like the one that got Lamb concussed.

No QB can play with the D in his backfield as Mahomes will attest to from the Super Bowl.

The fact is the Cowboys are good at drafting OL in the 1st round but after that, they are not even OK at it. The Center and both OG's are barely average, They could have taken an OL in the 1st but the D was the priority and they hit a Grand Slam there.

This is a high octane offense by design but only when completely healthy.

Well, Josh Allen was the runner up for MVP and had the Bills in the AFC Championship game year. I'd LOVE for Dak to have done that in just his 3rd year in the league.

We're just tired of losing. It's been a quarter of a century without reaching the conference championship game. It all boils down to winning when it matters.

"Runner up for MVP" is not an actual award that anyone gets. And it doesn't help the Bills win any games this year.

I get it, but again, I can't speak for Bills fans because I'm not one, but I'm sure being 1 game from the Super Bowl a year shows the Bills that they have a guy that can get the job done.

Earn our trust? Lol what are we his boss? Man...

Besides I still believe in Dak. There isn't a single QB in history who hasn't had a stinker or two per year.
