Dak: NFL's best

Sooner or later, Dak is going to have to Romo a few games for us. I don't think this will require that exactly, but if he turns it over, it won't end well.
Our opener was an opportunity to have a Romo finish but came up short.

Perhaps we won't need Romo heroics if we don't fall behind ?

Wait what are people saying Romos never cost us a game in his career? What planet is this?

True.

Though thousands will tell you that he has...even if he throws for 500 yards, 5 Tds..but has one solo, late game pick. And even if the other team scored 49 points and never punted one time.
It was HE who lost the game.
Sounding to me like Romo can only win games for us? Just looking for the fair and balanced report.

Romo had horrid coaching and single dimension offensive teams. Which, outside of Rams 1999, are an absolute outlier at winning 'chips. Way the hell moreso than single dimension D's

The offense is completely different. Vertical passing game is gone and he's throwing shorter safer throws. Not dissimilar to how the Charges have run their offense for years.
I know. He's also not forcing it to Megatron anymore. For years, Johnson had a low passer rating on his targets because he was targeted way too much, which resulted in many INT for Stafford.

Not a fan of greatest show on turf Trouty? Marshall Faulk, Kurt Warner, Dick Vermeil pretty good coaching/offensive combo IMO.

He's won for us a whole hell of a lot more than he's for lost us. He was failed, not vice-versa, bruh

I'm not saying he hasn't won us games but it seemed like some were saying he's never cost us a single game.

Loved them!!! That's why I cited them! My point was that they were a one-sided offensive anomaly.

Boy, they were fun to watch, Ring!

Team concept is hit and miss. If you have a whole elite unit (Raven 2000, TB 2002, DEN 2015) you can get by with an elite single unit on the team.

Still. It's an outlier. QBs drive the league. Elite QBs
Yes elite QB can drive a team but I think we've been seeing elite defenses have more success.

Besides Brady and maybe Rodgers I'd take an elite defense over every other QB in the NFL.

Even in Brady's championship seasons is when the Pats had their better defenses.

Brady's defenses were a product of a phenom, prodigy coach. But I digress. I agree with your post, Blues.

Edit -- ARod is done, I wouldn't take him over an elite championship D, but I still agree with the essence of your post @Diehardblues

An elite QB can maintain a high level for an era providing something to build around keeping the team contending but for as long as you can keep them together an elite defense can carry you to championship.

Much tougher to find that elite QB IMO than build a great defense.

You didn't hear that from me.

Just saying that whatever rules apply to other QBs should apply to both he and Dak.
