I'm not much of a stats guy, I'm more of a W and L guy, but this is pretty. Enjoy!

Escobar is "big for no reason". He is not physical. He is not violent. You have to decide when the ball is coming that the ball belongs to you and nobody else. Was it an easy play? No. But did Escobar have a better chance of catching vs not catching it? Yes!

Dez would make that play. Escobar, not so much!

It was basically a 7 on 7 drill. The Baltimore dline was whipped.
Literally dropping back as if it was practice. Zero pressure.
But the WRs were being covered, so even in 7 on 7, you have to get the ball to them.

What amazes me is his patience.
Just taking what they are freely giving him and marching methodically down the field.
This is a big play league and normally a defense will eventfully make you pay for needing so many plays to get down the field each time.
But not in this case. Very patient and impressive.

I hate that we drafted him. We could have had Laveon Bell.

Dez is the ONLY player on this roster that would make the play. Which is why it is crazy talk when people want to "move on from him". If we find ourselves in a position like we did in Green Bay in 2014....Dez was the only choice then...and he is the only choice now. You have to have somebody on the team that gives the QB confidence to take a chance by throwing the ball and TRUSTING the WR to make a play. Dez is that guy for Dallas.

Yeah, Sturm touched on that. The homeruns are nice but can be taken away. It's very difficult to stop methodical, consistent, chaining moving plays. Seems like the recipe for sustained success.

On the flip side that's two weeks in a row where after continuing that type of play, Dak went big on third down(Dez TD last week, big play to Butler this week). Can't rave about him enough

Escobar showed us why he has played so little this year. I thought his biggest mistake was right after Witten had to leave the game for a couple of plays and we ran a run left and Escobar was lined up on the right side. All he had to do was get in his guys way and he totally missed the block and his guy was able to wrap Zeke up at the LOS

Same story, different game.

Dak starts out just awful. Then, as the game wears on and the offensive line and running game start to impose their will, he settles in and starts hitting passes. It's a thing of beauty.

I want to see him coming out of the chute better, but from a rookie, he's playing well when it matters, so it's all good.

They were really missing Jimmy Smith. Once our big boys tired out their pass rush, their back end just couldn't hold up.
