The Cowboys are fortunate to have him.Dak already trying to put himself in good position for his next contract. He's not fooling anyone. On another note, he likes our guys!

If he did that then even the staunchest Dak hater would have to relent. With the way he’s playing this season it’s hard not to like him. I am very happy with him and I am a Dak critic. But he’s playing awesome. The only thread to hang onto right now is he’s not worth his contract. If he redid his contract then that would end all Dak bashing. If Dak redid his deal and took less money and people bashed him then that would just show agenda driven, irrational hatred for the man. I personally hope he takes less money with a redo because I’d like to see the reaction of fans AND it would help the team.Maybe Dak wants to redo his contract.
Dak has to win when it matters most in the clutch and the Playoffs...that's his criticism imo.If he did that then even the staunchest Dak hater would have to relent. I agree. I feel Dak has done everything he can to prove himself in the regular season. He has to win in the playoffs. I guess his contract is not the only sticking point. You’re right, it’s also the playoffs. I’ve been an obsessional Dak critic and I agree that in order to justify the contract (I absolutely hate the contract) he had to elevate the team in the playoffs. For me that would completely turn the page on my Dak criticism. So you’re right, it’s the playoffs that will do it. I don’t think the contract would be that atrocious if he took us to several NFCCG or completely balled out in the playoffs but other parts of the team failed us.Dak has to win when it matters most in the clutch and the Playoffs...that's his criticism imo.
No doubt but unlike Parsons I don’t think a team would be willing to pay Pickens top of the market money and then give the Cowboys draft picks. $24-$26 million in one season is more than he has made in his career. Pickens doesn’t have the juice that Parsons has.In that scenario he holds out

Dak's cap hit his year is 50 million, next year it's 74 million.
How tenable is that for building a team around a mediocre QB?
Oh by the way CD's cap hit in 26 is nearly 40 million. This team aint winning anything for a minimum 4 more seasons and let's be real as long as this FO exists.
How does Philthy win a SB paying Brown Smith Hurrts Barkley ….

Yes it's worth it. Are you blind?I know we can but is it worth to have two 30+ million wrs?? Might as well get Micah back
And it goes all the way back to college. Great player. By all accounts a great person. But there is always that concern of a critical bonehead mistake from him. As a fan of the Cowboys, thats still a risk Im willing to take with him thoughTeams are still afraid of Pickens mental. He’s gonna get paid but not Justin Jefferson or Chase money.
Exactly. All these dreams of this when Dak takes up 1/3 of the cap alone. Won’t happen. Also on this same topic. 15 other NFL QBs could throw to a wide open Pickens and he could be kept. It’s one read to a guy open by 3 yards. It doesn’t take 60 million a year to do that.Dak's cap hit his year is 50 million, next year it's 74 million.

Oh for sure. I take the risk. I just think people may be no taking the personal into consideration in regards to his salary…I never had any doubt he be ok mentally in a contract year. And it goes all the way back to college.
