....have you seen the responses about Dak lately? It's gotten so bad, Romo haters want Romo back. Go to Twitter or Facebook to see what normal fans have to say about Dak.

There are a select few on this board still riding him. He sucks and the Cowboys can give him all the support until it's time to move on. You don't give big contracts to a QB playing the way he is right now.

Dak is a top BACKUP QB. Market value still pretty good there. But it's obvious at this point that he is not the QB that can lead the Cowboys to SB.

People like this is why the ownership will cripple this franchise and resign this awful QB to a long term contract. Dak is the reason we lost and all the blame should go on him.

He absolutely should and WILL shoulder some of the blame but his blame should be less than the HC, OC, O line, and wr group.
I don't know about that, they tailored this offense to suit Dak, but in order for this offense to work we need quick fast reads and a very accurate passer. Dak is showing neither of those qualities on a regular basis. I don't know why this suprises everyone, that is exactly what was said about him coming out of college. He is now going into game 39 of his career and he seems to be getting worse not better. Dak is on record as saying the team didn't need a #1 WR and the WR's keep saying they are getting separation and our offensive line even without Freddy is still a top 10 unit in the league. The Texans were the 25th ranked D against the pass going into last nights game. Dak needed OT to pass for over 200 yards against them, we were the 5th ranked D against the pass going into last nights game and the Texans and their QB managed to light us up for 375 yards passing and most who watched that game could easily see Watson was playing hurt in that 2nd half or it probably would have been more. Dak has to shoulder alot of the responsibily for how this offense is performing

Let's just say that he was part of the problem.
Saying he wasn't the problem is just flat out idiotic.
Saying he was all of the problem is equally so

Show me a good to great QB who does not miss throws.

Get a true #1 WR who is big and fast. Likewise, corner will either have to give space to prevent long ball or try to jam and get burnt deep or bring an extra defender to defend underneath and over the top... opening up offense for others.

Dak can play with Julio and AB on the team and still put up pedestrian numbers. A good to great QB makes the WRs better. Pretty simply.
Dak's completions are usually within 10 yds of LOS and between the hash. He can't complete a 15 yd out to save his life which should be bread and butter for NFL QB. Which is also the reason that CBs don't have to play the out and just play either the slant or Go route... we are seeing more and more slants being challenged.

it’s all on Dak. All of it. Put a good QB on this team and it’s a legit contender.
This team will not be a legit contender with a better QB...

You cannot rely on one player to be better; due to injury (49ers) and for other reasons... look at the Vikings with Cousins... even the Eagles with Wentz... Is Wentz or Foles better for the Eagles?

Look at Tampa Bay.

The Rams FO spent $ to put better weapons around Goff...and on defense.

So show us an example of a team with a better QB who WRs and TEs were downgraded and the QB played better.

Yes, it's true. But Dak is a BIG problem since his problem magnifies other problems instead of compensate for them.

Julio and AB will make Dak and others better since WRs like Beasley will get open more and those two will consistently demand Dak get the ball to them... and most of the time they will make plays unlike Dez when he demanded the ball.

Oh, I agree.

He's bottom 5 to almost dead last in almost every measurable category right now.
There is no defending him.
But as we always say...team game, win or lose.

He almost blew the well designed and wide open td by waiting and waiting.

Imagine being a wr in this offense. Run your route, come out of your break then instead of seeing the ball you just have to wait, knowing the safety is coming and knowing that you have no idea where the ball is going to be delivered. Gotta be ready to jump to the limit of your ability or dive to scoop it out of the dirt.

Then, of course, get blamed for not catching the ball you somehow managed to get your hands on.

So it's dak's fault they didn't take more play action deep shots down the field. Which is what I would have done. I mean how many designed swing passes and screens are we going to run in a game? No QB is perfect and is going to place a perfectly thrown ball every time especially when under immense pressure. His wr group gives him no help. 2 ints off balls that the wrs should have made a play on. Still better than Romo's ints from bad decision making. I would change scheme by getting a new staff and get wr help before moving on from Dak.

Nothing about his game is better than Romo's other than the read option and Dak would be the first to tell you that.

Also, Romo had way worse offensive lines than this one.

He was definitely part of the problem. That throw was high on the int.
And the 2nd int. Was way late. Had he thrown the ball when he should have the receiver was open, but they aren’t open for long. This article s old and tired. By what measurable standard can you say that dak is even at about 15th for qbs.

Passing yards, sucks, percentage isn’t even very good at this point, passing tds, 20plus yard pass plays, scoring offense..... please, find me a stat he is pretty good at.

Every single time he craps the bed....which is 4 out of five games this year, excuses are made about the line or the wrs. He had to have ot. Just to barely get over two hundred yards, and about 90 o fthose came on the broken play where he chucked it as far as he could, and. Ascreen to Swaim. Face it, the qb IS THE DAMN PROBLEM.

lets look at Cousins. he is playing lights out this year

It is the Vikings D that is falling apart so far this season (Zimmer will get them straightened out though) and a pathetic running game that is averaging 65 yards per game. Imagine our offense if we went from 135 yards per game (average after last nights game) to just 65 yards per game rushing

Even the quick passes that are just snapped and thrown to a wr that has backed up two yards are down into their shin, not allowing them to just catch it and go.

I'll take Cousins, Garoppolo (healthy) and even Fritz right now. Because they instantly makes the opposing team play the entire field instead on a 20 yard box at LOS. It's allows Zeke to run without constantly facing 8-9 in box and makes the LBs hesitate to play run or pass.

We actually have a decent team just watching this D playing it's guts out. Yes, it's broke down toward the end but that's what happens when you let the other team hang around.

They can get open all they want. Dak has a hard time getting the ball down field accurately and in a timely fashion.
