He's a good guy and that's a good thing. I just hope they don't hold him to some unrealistic standard.
That looms as a realistic possibility, to be certain -- he's already setting himself up for fan expectations to reach and even win the Super Bowl. Realistically, I suppose it's the downside of what comes as a side effect of incredible success to begin with. Guess I'd much prefer to see him set unrealistic expectations for winning than to have everyone expecting the worst of him for predictably losing at the outset. It's a double-edged sword.
As far as his character is concerned, he's practically walking on water at present. There's really nowhere else to go but down when you're already at the top. Hopefully, he'll stay right there where he is and has been for some time. Actually, I'm expecting him to do just that. Maintaining that kind of an image must be difficult to say the least but then, I wouldn't know about that. I've never been faced with that dilemma -- lol.
