Dak sets NFL record

1. For much of the game we had no pass rush against perhaps the worst line in the league.
2. Pass coverage is for the most part below average.
3. If we don't improve 1 and 2 Eli and company could pass for 400 yards.
game has been over for just 2 hours . let us enjoy this victory for now

jeez

Man just say that you hate Dak. For some reason you just don't like him.

How do you hate on him? Mind blowing. All he wants to do is help this team win. Where Romo lead O leads to a punt at best, he gives us four more downs with his legs. This is after he makes his reads. The Vikings have a darn good D. Weren't the Cowboys a 2.5 to 3 point favorite?

Man, I wish we had a rookie qb who could keep moving the chains against the best defense in the league with 3rd and 24 or 3rd and 15 because of consistent holding or false start penalties. Like come on!

I can't believe people are actually putting this performance on Dak in here. Unbelievable

This board is incredibly negative. When I go over to the board on Dallas Cowboys official site, its an entirely different vibe. People here just love to hate. Angry people here.

The hell you say? :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Next week the Cowboys won't play a team with the kind of defense that Minny has.

The Giants have a better offense than Minn who's ranked 30th. We can't afford to keep shooting ourselves in the foot like we did tonight against the Giants and expect to win that game. We were fortunate to win tonight.

I'm also amazed by how many seem unwilling to cherish a victory.

I've seen a lot of posts stating, "If we play like this against Seattle, we will NOT head to the Super Bowl." Well, sure. And you know what? A whole laundry list of other things that can also occur that prevent us from sniffing a Super Bowl.

We've got weaknesses. Warts. Issues. Everyone does. It just so happens we have gone 11-1 while sorting through ours.

It's impressive, but guarantees nothing moving forward. Which is no different than if we had won 50-0 tonight.

I think a lot of people seek their thrill and self worth through the game of football. Somehow if Dallas has a weakness, they feel they have a weakness and so they feel vunerable. And then some people are just miserable and will never be satisfied and probably weren't satisfied in the early 90s either.

Id rather everyone be complete homers and wishful thinkers than 50% of the board be miserable people. Sure, we can break down the games and talk about individual plays, techniques or formations, etc. - dig deep - but the truth is every Cowboy fan should feel grateful and if they don't its really just a reflection of them, not the team.

He sucked tonight.

No. No he didn't.

Minnesota has a very good defense and the passes were not there tonight. The receivers were blanketed all game - and Dak made a few key passes even when they were blanketed (see: Dez's first catch of the game on the opening drive).

He also made three key third downs himself on 3rd and long by using his feet when no one was open.

The kid played very well today and honestly he was a key ingredient in the win.

That was an aggresive defense that attacked our quarterback. The majority of quarterbacks in this league would have fumbled.

Dak has 7 fumbles this season, 4 recovered by the opponent so far this season. He has 2 INT's. That is 6 turnovers out of 387 combined passing and running attempts. He turns the ball over for an average of every 77 attempts.

Tony Romo only has one season in which he fumbled less. In four seasons he had 9 or more. His turnover rate average is every 30 attempts, almost two and a half times more frequently than Dak.

In a playoff game against the Vikings in 2009 Tony Romo fumbled 3 times and all I saw posted was how poor Tony didnt have a chance because of an awful offensive line.....which had three Pro Bowlers, by the way.

But rookie has a fumble and he sucks? Wow, his runs were the big plays of the game, except his pass to Dez.

The refs missed a penalty? Heck, they missed a dozen and were nitpicking on a dozen that they did call.

Did you know that Dak has yet to have a game in which he threw more INT's than TD's?

I think some of you are so used to biatching that you don't know how not to biatch. This team is 11-1 and some of you are just looking for anything to complain about. The Cowboys won. The team won.
