Yeah people say blitz and it will rattle guys but to my knowledge Dak has always been good against the blitz

QB's that can read a defense typically enjoy being blitzed, especially if it is a reasonable down and distance.

I think the video shows how important that it is that receivers come back for the ball. There's a play at one point where a KC receiver doesn't and the corner comes up and bats the ball down. Pickens plays this pass perfectly. He not only comes forward but also steps back toward the inside of the field toward Dak, pretty much guaranteeing that he's going to get to the ball ahead of the DB.

Pickens is much more QB friendly this way than CD. It also gives him more separation to run after the catch.

IMO, Best way to beat Dak is take away the running game (he's usually near top on play action passing) and create pressure with 4 men while you give him heavy zone coverage. Always seems ready to make a bad decision at some point in zone.

This is why a tiny piece of me wouldn't be too upset if Jeremiyah Love was a Cowboy next year. Dak thrives with a big time run game, and with this OL having another year to gel, and then adding a stud RB, 2016 Dak. add to that a better defense than we had back then and we'd be scary good.

I think it has. When teams are able to rush with 4 and play zone he tends to struggle. But against the blitz he’s effective.

I cant imagine many qbs do well when teams are successful rushing 4 and playing zone.
