Yes that is exactly what I said. Exactly.

The parades were great.
I was just making sure you thought about what you typed. It almost sounded like you said he only had one losing season.

Or "we" just realize that Dak has been struggling at the worst possible point of the season. And if it keeps up, the logical thing to do is see what Romo has before the playoffs.

It isn't the worst possible point in the season-- it's just the most recent.

The season is very long and it's easy to lose one's bearings and perspective.

If you'll remember, back in 2009 it seemed like our season was over after a loss to SD and heading into 13-0 New Orleans.

But that was the turning point.

By the way, the loss to SD was the same NFL week as our most recent loss.

It's still early and we still have time to work out of the slump.

But for now we're guaranteed a playoff spot with no teams clearly and definitively better than us.

Have some faith.

I hated those years . Losing one win and your in game after another to each division rival. I don't think it could ever get worse than that.

We can't all be Al Bundy like you in High school who lead the team to victory.

Can you tell us some more stories about your successful high school days and how that equates to Tony Romo's epic failure ridden career some more, I making some hot chocolate and love a good story.

Im not saying Romo at all. Im just saying you said we havent had losing seasons under Romo, then i asked if 8-8 is a winning season. You didnt answer. Football is a team sport. In a lot of those games though, why did we lose? Thats all i asked you. For the record, i was a Romo supporter and you can go look at my posts while he started. I would actually go as far as to say i was a romo apologist.

You make it sound like he had 9 years of success. Success to me means either NFC Championship Victory, or Super Bowl victory.

I don't know if any of listened to Bill Polian earlier tonight on Sirius NFL radio. He pretty much went on a rant about how stupid some of the analysis has been about Dak and the loss the other night. I'm thinking that he has been reading the CZ. First of all he said that the only reason we won against Minnesota was Dak. He made some great plays running the ball. He also said that if you watch the film and know what you are suppose to be looking at, you would see that Dak wasn't as bad as you think, and that the OLine and receivers had a big part in the loss. He said that people are crazy to even consider replacing Dak now, and don't know what they are talking about.

You can say what you want, and analyze all you want and blame whoever you want to blame. But I am a big fan of Polian, and I will take his view of things above any of the you tube scouts on here.

I still think it's Zeke and the Oline that we are that good this year. Dak plays a good part in it and I hope he will learn from his mistakes and get better. No matter who will lead us to the promised land, Dak or Romo, I will fully support that team. Reload and get that Super Bowl back to Dallas.
so the loss should be on Zeke and the OL? If you don't give him credit for the 11 wins, don't blame him for the 2 losses.

The big problem with the Minnesota game was the penalties. It always put us in long situations. Tony would have absolutely got killed in that game. The only game I will admit that Dak absolutely sucked was the Giant game and even then I put part of the blame on the coaching.

That's a mirage that doesn't bear any resemblance to logical thinking. It takes 4 or 5 games for a QB who has been sitting for a lengthy amount of time to get his mojo back. There's no way Romo will get that kind of experience to shake off his rust. There's a huge amount of difference between throwing in practice and doing so in a live NFL contest. The pace is much faster and they don't touch QBs in practice. This team will have to rely on Dak to QB them in the playoffs, barring an injury that forces Romo to relieve him. The panic in Dallas and past its borders is nuts.

Dak the constant pro. He has lead a team that only won 4 games last season to 11 wins this season. Which in the mind of some isn't good enough. It's not like last season was the first losing season. Over the last 20 years we have had plenty. The current backup qb that could replace Dak was part of many of those losing years. So please Dak, brush it off both shoulders & stay the pro you have shown to be.
We had two losing seasons max under romo. If losing seasons count as not making the playoffs or winning a SuperBowl then a lot of qbs with greater fanfare are guilty

Those 8-8 seasons weren't winning seasons either.

Are fans on both sides of this argument just doing this to antagonize each other at this point? Because I honestly don't see the point of bashing either Dak or Romo into the ground.

We lost. Whatever. It happens, get over it. Move on.

And please stop with the "classless" replies. We are all fans of the same team. I swear we are treating Eli better this week than either Romo or Dak. Sad really.
it is a very small subset of fans that act that way, but they are very vocal and start most of the threads around here.

It's all going to work out. Either Dak gets over this slump, or Romo gets another shot to prove he has the capability to finish games. Either way we are in store for a heck of a finish
