He certainly didn't hurt his chances Sunday night......

MVP Watch

1. Russell Wilson, QB, Seattle Seahawks

2. Lamar Jackson, QB, Baltimore Ravens

3. Deshaun Watson, QB, Houston Texans

4. Aaron Rodgers, QB, Green Bay Packers

5. Dak Prescott, QB, Dallas Cowboys

This ranking isn't because of Wilson's final drive heroics during "Monday Night Football" against the 49ers. He would be ranked here even if this game had ended on his overtime interception or his overtime three-and-out instead of his fifth game-winning drive of the season. Wilson has been so consistently excellent all season that it's not a hot take to believe Seattle's biggest win came in one of his worst games overall.

Dak leads the league in QBR and Points Added. Not saying he should win the award, but he certainly deserves to be in the conversation.

Tell you what....if the Cowboys win out he should be considered.....anything less than 11 wins nAw.....but factor in the coaching in this team and what he’s done despite it....maybe he should be one. Hard to understand how Christian McCaffery or even Kirk or Cook aren’t on here though.
Lamar Jackson and Russ are way above him in regards to MVP. Lamar Jackson is phenomenal this season. Russ is Russ as always. But Dak is for sure in the conversation

It's a lot closer than you think. The numbers even say so, not only that but neither of them have had their bye week while Dak has.

If he needs at least 11 wins to be considered hes screwed lol. Think 9 is the limit.

have the other QBs been as inconsistent? Just asking, haven't watched any of them this year. Dak has been really good when he's on, but I'm not going to dismiss early start or end of game blunders.

I'd prefer a Superbowl over independent accolades but this is Dallas so here we are
Yeah Dallas is the King of accolades (Tyron Smith and Zack Martin will make the All-decade team in January, Dak will be a MVP finalist, Amari will surpass Dez's 1000 yard season/pro bowl total) but none if it will actually translate to playoff success :(
