Dak takes the blame and refuses to blame the defense

paid 60 mill for that reason. .
Expected response......so I'd say he's underpaid given the defense that accompanies him or is known as teammates. (the 31st ranked defense). A defense that warrants a Player of Week Nominee frequently (Rico Dowdle this week). Well put Bob-Lillys-War.

Tua is the exact opposite lol.

Dude will throw his grandma under the bus next week.

Dak should do the same......I am sick and tired of PC Prescott.

Schotty refuses to be a Villain

Eh, I see the point of staying PC now, but being more vocal behind the scenes. Last thing they need is more outside noise/drama cause Dak spoke his mind and put gas on the fire.

This defense though is ruining an offense that could of won the East with ease.

Reminds me of old Big 12, Southwest Conference, or Texas Tech scores - 57-54 scores and we with the 54..
I mean the reality of a game time situation doesn't always go according to what you planned. You plan to keep the opponent in check, they make some adjustment we can't adjust to and all of a sudden your plans are out the window. If anything the best teams are ones that can adjust on the fly and do what they need to do to win. The Cowboys post Jimmy have never had the talent needed to do that on Defense or Offense.

And who got him put into position to kick? Yep, Dak. I love our kicker. But stop pretending Dak didn't lead us to a win. He gives us a chance.
So...it was just one kick that did it?

Have you already forgotten the 64 yarder for the tie?

I'm not pretending Dak didn't help. YOU...are pretending no one else did.

Dak is why we have any wins at all.

I'll give the defense kudos against Philly. The only other game they've stood up was against Justin Fields & Jets.........Justin Fields......now let that sink in. (Fools Gold). I'm ok with 2-3-1, as it should be worse. (Eye test).

It's also matchups, some they matchup well against and others they suck at. The Philly game I toss out as an aberration because start of the season and none of the starters play pre-season anymore so a lot of rust being worked out in that game. I wouldn't be surprised if we get blown off the field on both sides of the ball the next time we meet them.

What most don’t understand is that standing up in the media, player, coach, or owner, and bashing the defense will accomplish nothing. The defense isn’t playing poorly and just need to flip a switch and play better. They do not have the players capable of playing better.

  • DT - 2 3-techs who are not run stuffers but at least rotate
  • DT - when Clark leaves the game, 0. We have two guys behind him who cannot play on the NFL level this year
  • LB - this is the worst group I have ever seen. Athletic, but they have no vision or instincts and never fly into a hole and meet the RB. They are not LBs; we just call them that. I have watched them closely…Liufau, Murray, and James don’t understand what they are seeing. They stand there seconds into the play, shuffle their feet, see the RB pop through the line, and then they chase him. Yesterday, I saw several times in replays alone when the DTs and DE’s did their jobs and held the line, occupied the blockers at the line, but the LBs never filled, just sat back and watched the RB run through the hole, then tried to make tackles 5-6 yards downfield. They are special teamers at best….you cannot teach players with no vision instincts or reaction to play LB.
You cannot destroy the players and morale because they suck. You can only say the defense has to play better and we are working on it because there is no help coming at these positions. It is what it is for this year.

What they all really want to say but can’t is the front office has screwed us with a flawed roster once again.

So, I just read in another thread that Dak also excused his overly conservative approach on the last drive by saying he thought he'd get the ball back and didn't want to force anything. In other words, he blamed the defense.

Just more posturing and platitudes from this phony. He's the Bruce Springsteen of QB's
