Dak texts deceased mom before every game

A lot to like about Dak

I have a theoretical question.
Assume for a moment a scenario where Dak knew his mom was in a real dogfight battling cancer, but the team he was QBing just lost an important game.
A sportswriter asks him just how terrible it is and he replies "if losing a football game is the worst thing that can happen to me, then I've had a pretty good life".

Would the entire world come falling down on him like it did on Tony (who's dad was battling cancer at the time) when he replied that way many years ago after a big game loss?

My point is, that Dak would be 1000% correct in what he said...and so was Tony at the time.
Brain-dead people dogged him for years for that statement.

Bottomline...a single football game means next to zero compared to health of your parents.

If you didn't see the interview during the Bears game, another thing I think was Dak saying his mother absolutely hated interceptions and that was something that shaped his game. Wonderful kid who obviously had great parents.
