BS, brother. Troy Aikman played pissed. Roger Staubach played pissed. They are the only 2 franchise QBs who have led the Cowboys to Super Bowl Championships. Guess why? Because they hated losing, and they held their teammates accountable. They also played pissed off many times when they needed to.

I get some extreme examples, but if they are pissed and focused, seems like a good combo.

Why are you all so upset? We KNEW this would be a tough win. We knew the Lions had more talent, especially on offense. You can't win a game of this magnitude by making silly mistakes, especially turnovers. Our top offensive players and OLine let us down ( Lamb, Ferg, and Pickens). You could see Dak going after guys after certain plays.
This game IMO highlighted our season to a T.......we are 2-3 players away and still missing the toughness and discipline needed to consistently compete at a high level.

Overall, they fought hard.........not sure what was going on with Pickens. Perhaps we will find out, but obviously, something wasn't right with him.

If ever there was a time to be pissed off and totally jacked going into a game, this was it. We got absolutely trucked by them last year, and this night carried all the importance of a playoff game. And we looked lethargic as hell. I thought we had made some strides on defense since the bye week, and then you get this kind of effort. You can’t use the excuse that it was a short week after such an emotionally draining win against the Chiefs. You can’t use the excuse that we were missing people(they had more players injured than us.) And OMG, the special teams coach should’ve been fired after the game. It looked like they were starting every drive from midfield. I’ve blamed Dak for many games in the past, but this one isn’t on him. If someone told me that I’d of missed Guyton going into last night, I would’ve laughed in their face. Nate Thomas was a turnstile. The OLine protection in general was horrible. I haven’t been blindsided as a fan like this since the Green Bay playoff loss. In short, this game was all about lack of effort, nothing more.

It was a playoff game for us and them in their house.

So where do you start.
You can't lose the turnover and penalty battle and expect to win.

Need to somehow cover kicks and not give them the ball at the 50 yard line every time.

Your left cannot be a turnstile and needs to protect your quarterback.

And when you get punched in the mouth you need a plan and if you don't have one you need to at least get back up and hit the other guy harder.

Amber fuss was severely out coached he did not put our defense in the best positions to win.
They were a banged up team and still way more physical than we were.

So Dak can say how pissed everybody is but it's too late for that emotion needed that before the game.
That was really a make or break game a lot of people have to collapse now for us to do anything
