I can imagine if Irvin was part of this team now he'd have another long list of players that must go if they want to win but this time he'd be ignored.

Roger and Troy also cared more about winning championships then 'career stats' or MVP rankings. Between them, we won 5 Lombardi trophies; and you know how many times either of them won the MVP award - ZERO!

When has Dak ever said he cares about winning league MVP or that it was a goal of his? If he never said it, apologize.

Meh whatever you will never convince me that the highest paid players on this team have any interest in a long grueling playoff run. Dallas got away with letting games slip away at home.

Didn’t happen on the road tonight.

Ferguson had a shocking game. Just basically threw the game away.

The hold on the punt return early in the game set up terrible field position that later resulted in a TD.


The Cowboys just don’t handle success well. Ongoing problem.

You tell them how good they are and then you know an L is on the doorstep.

Basically, yeah.

It was a playoff game for us and them in their house.

So where do you start.
You can't lose the turnover and penalty battle and expect to win.

Need to somehow cover kicks and not give them the ball at the 50 yard line every time.

Your left cannot be a turnstile and needs to protect your quarterback.

And when you get punched in the mouth you need a plan and if you don't have one you need to at least get back up and hit the other guy harder.

Amber fuss was severely out coached he did not put our defense in the best positions to win.
They were a banged up team and still way more physical than we were.

So Dak can say how pissed everybody is but it's too late for that emotion needed that before the game.
That was really a make or break game a lot of people have to collapse now for us to do anything

Field position was a major problem.

Touchdown Drives:

42, 53, 14, 59, 51.

Number of plays it took to score a TD:

6, 4, 2, 5 and 3

261 return yards, averaging 32 yards a return and starting close to midfield the entire game. We would have been better off kicking the ball out of the end zone.

In 12 drives Detroit only had 8 3rd downs.

It would be safe to say our defense was brake but don't bend last night.

Why are you all so upset? We KNEW this would be a tough win. We knew the Lions had more talent, especially on offense. You can't win a game of this magnitude by making silly mistakes, especially turnovers. Our top offensive players and OLine let us down ( Lamb, Ferg, and Pickens). You could see Dak going after guys after certain plays.
This game IMO highlighted our season to a T.......we are 2-3 players away and still missing the toughness and discipline needed to consistently compete at a high level.

Overall, they fought hard.........not sure what was going on with Pickens. Perhaps we will find out, but obviously, something wasn't right with him.

How did Lamb let us down?

What's funny is that he said that knowing Detroit's secondary was compromised...but not knowing that his mind is also compromised.

Giving up two easy drives all on the defense you could have wipe the slate clean right there,

I know it's not tie, That's when it all turned, they give up a relatively easy and fast score to make it 37-27 Cowboys say OK well we need two scores so we'll go with the field goal to make it 37-30 so it's still only one score and guess what happened they let another easy drive for anther 7..

Does not matter what happened before that ,in my opinion lots of crazy things happen, but when you're within three points with just under 10 minutes left in the game, everything's on the table now ,your slate's wiped clean, now just go play like it's your last game of your life and this defense was just so horrendous, is historically bad, I thought it was fixed, it's not ,they gave up chunk play after chunk play even after they made it a 3 point game and it stayed a 7 point game and then it turned out to be a 14 point game there was nothing Prescott or this offense can do when your defense is that bad...

That is the number one reason we lost the game period end of story I don't care about all the other stuff sure short fuels you can blame on some turnovers and the special teams it didn't help the defense but I'm sorry all that doesn't matter what matters is after you play the last 10 minutes of the game and still got curbs stomped you just saw their game plans you got to feel the pace of the game that's it you had 10 minutes to play all you had to do has come up with a way to get the ball back down three down seven instead you lose by 14 when your offense still scores 30 points there's no excuse for that it's all on the defense i'm sorry everything else that happened before that moment in the game it doesn't matter...

Well we can agree on that ,and we don't agree on a lot,

but even right down to the last play that sealed the game Flournoy got the ball torn out of his han not that it mattered after the score was 44-30, but it was mostly on the defense, yes on then on the offensive line, then on all the turnovers by the other players ,those are not Prescott interceptions. He was harassed all day the the offensive line did not block well he had almost no time to throw I think it was officially only four or 5 sacks could have been 10 it was that bad he saved their **** I don't know how many times and yet he's being talked down to and I'm tired of hearing about it...

I mean even that ball that late in the 4th quarter that Pickens just let it fall to his feet, he didn't even react to it, like literally didn't even dive for it ,he just kind of let it fall, I mean that's this kind of crap that I don't want to deal with players...

What I do hate about Dak is his company man type presentations. Don't wanna hear this chit. They should of been mad before the game. They had plenty to be mad about after the last azz kicking Detroit gave them. So, on this I would tell Dak to shut the hell up. Be mad before the game!! Not after the game! It's an insult to me as a fan to tell me this chit after a butt kicking two years straight. Schotty even had the NERVE to say " we played well". That's another reason I want this scarecrow out of Dallas-NOW!!!
