Prove me wrong.....

Come on do it. Show me those receipts
Detroit and GB(2014). Seattle

When Dez went down this season.

He's a good player.

He plays on a dominant running team, that has 3 other mouths to feed before you get to him. You'll miss him when he's gone

Daks best throw in this game(1 of his best this season) was his over the shoulder throw to Williams.

His throws from Chicago and Cincinnati were also beautiful throws to Williams.

So why can't he do it with Dez being back? With attention of Dak, Zeke, and Dez, why is he not destroying ****.

Butler to me is a more polished WR

Yet he has few drops. Granted if Williams and his agent ask for a big contract I would let him walk if a deal can be reached I would gladly welcome him back to Dallas
Me too dooms. Not really what you look for in a wideout but his blocking out on the edge has been outstanding. He has helped Zeke a lot on some of the long runs

I haven't seen anything that shows Butler is a more polished receiver. I think both guys are pretty equal or Williams has a slight edge.

The same reason James Harden didn't bust out until he left OKC.. Other mouths to feed w only so few scraps to go around.

Beautiful pitch and catch at 6:10:

Aikman to Irvin like strike at 2:30:

Three of his best throws to Williams.

beautiful strike at :27:

As long as he catches it, I don't care if its body or hands, or even helmet if necessary like the Giants miracle catch in the SB :):)
Because if your wide receiver is a body catcher the quarterback has to be that much more accurate to make you a viable target. You've allowed no error slight or not for the quarterback. You also make it more difficult for the quarterback to lead you or throw a back-shoulder pass

I'll take Butler out there over TWill any day.

At Twill's best, I'll take Butler. With Dez and Beasley playing opposite of him, he should be catching 6-7 passes a game instead of disappearing. For having "world class" speed, we don't have a deep threat STILL.

I just think Brice should get 3-4 more deep passes per game.

That is comical. Only 10 players in the whole league are averaging more than 6 catches per game and only one with more than 7 per game. Why would the Cowboys 4th or 5th option catch the ball that often? They wouldn't even be targeted that often. Not in this offense or many offenses.

Just basing it on the fact that he's been here for 4 years and has had those opportunities before. Not his first year to be asked step up. He hasn't stepped up in other years when they were begging him to be a #2 (who SHOULD average 6 catches a game.) Tried to be "comical" in that one for you too, but couldn't find any humor in that truth. Your simpson's avi is comical, though right???

His point was your perception on what his production should be is very off base. Do you watch much football outside of the Cowboys? It sounds like not, which explains the unreasonable expectations. It's ok but just learn the facts and calibrate your analysis accordingly.

Dude, what NFL are you watching to think this is the norm? Maybe 6 targets a game, I don't know. But 6 catches a game? This isn't New England or New Orleans where the QB throws 650 times a year.

Also, T-Will with Romo

44 catches 736 yards, 5 TDs
37 catches, 621 yards, 8 TDs

Last year, he had over 50 catches with a QB rotation and he's working with a rookie QB now (Funny how the Dez is also getting the same criticism now...)

With Romo, he spread the ball around often. With Dez and Witten on this team, you're not getting a ton of balls coming your way. The best some of you can do is actually understand the offense we run.

Why do you think the #2 receiver should average 6 catches a game? That is 96 receptions for the season, which is something Dez Bryant has never done. That was the comical part because very few #1 WRs are averaging 6 catches per game.

I don't think Williams is anything great. Dallas can hopefully improve that position. I don't think Butler is an improvement. At best you would get the same results, but I think he would be a little worse.

I want a list of #2 WRs who average 6 receptions a game.

Got it, coach. If you're happy with Twill. Cool.

It would be very short. Plus in this offense Beasley is the #2 receiving option. The so called #2 WR spot in this offense is the 4th or 5th option. I'd like a list of #4 receiving options who even get targeted 6 times a game.
