This was a non-argument. Nice try. And I really don't care what other sports forums say, there are a good many here who watch Cowboys games on a weekly basis and still can't evaluate this team. Why the hell do you think some other sports forum can do it?

As for your "defend anything Cowboys" - Have you seen my posts lately? Far from it. LOL

You know you can't post BS like this off this forum and be taken seriously.

BS is saying Butler is clearly better. Had Butler been getting more targets this season you would be complaining about him needing to be replaced.

I'm not even sure what all the complaining is about. Dallas only ranks 30th in pass attempts, so there aren't that many opportunities to begin with. They are 25th in passes completed, so they are doing well with the limited opportunities they are getting.

We all know Williams isn't perfect, but there has been nothing to show that Butler is any better. Not when he only catches 50% of the passes thrown his way while Williams catches 72%. Any improvement in this position will have to come in the off season.

So you don't think we need an upgrade over Williams? Is that what you're telling me?

How well do you think a Dak is the MVP thread would go over on a non Cowboys forum?

1 hour? 2 hours? More?

As in, time for the laughter to die down.

It was a tight window, kinda reminded me of a Romo pass Cirque 2006...

If that is what you gathered from his post, its just confirmation you lack basic reading comprehension skills.

He hit him big in the Ravens game too. Very big play that started opening things up for us.

Trust me the roast wouldn't be anywhere near the level of Williams.

Dak is playing real good. Not the MVP IMO, but playing really good

Why would he ask for a lot of money? Or is that something you fabricated to put make Williams look bad. The hate of this guy is crazy, since his blunder in week 1 Williams has been the ultimate team guy

I think most people expect Williams to be elite and want a superstar across from Dez. The reality is he is our number 3 receiver behind Dez and Beasely. He is more than servicable in his role, and people need to accept him for the type of player he is. Teams may over pay him, similar to Alvin Harper and in fact many would be surprised to know his production is similar, even better than Harpers. If Dwayne Harris can get 17 million over 5 years, I would think Williams production could net him 4 to 5 million a year. I appreciate Williams contributions, but not sure its prudent to pay that.

I have been one of TWill's biggest critics, but I must say that I have been waiting on Brice to surpass TWill and from what I have seen it has not happened and really do not see the love for Brice beyond measurables.

I would pay 4 million a year for Williams

That's Williams has helped win ball games this season. Not sure the hate. Both of them have had some decent catches no doubt but Williams has had more clutch catches then Butler has. Why we can't have both on the team, why is it one or the other?

We can have both. But both are free agents after this season so we may not be able to pay for both. Butler should be a bit cheaper to keep.

Actually it is sort of a compliment to him to say that he may cost more than we are willing to spend so why is it that most here consider that to be a slight?

The reality is that T-Will has had some bad luck but has also come up with really clutch plays, and one bonehead play that really doesnt make a difference anymore.

He came up clutch in the playoffs two years ago over and over again. He is a pretty good blocker. He doesnt complaiin, and always tries hard.

He is unlucky because last year was really when he was going to make his money. Dez was going to be out a while, and he would have been Romo's number 1.

But then Romo got hurt. I was truly expecting a Laurent Robinson type of year from him with Romo. It just didnt work out.
