How about you post stats about what Zeke did against top 10 defenses. LOL

And what is Zeke's record against winning teams? What did Zeke do in the most important game of the season against Philly? The unstoppable Zeke!!!

BEST RB IN THE NFL!!!!! :muttley:

That is quite the analysis. Dak was better than average in all of them but one. IN one of them he blew away the average. In the one he didnt it was two points off the average.

And that is with horrid coaching and without the help of the great Zeke Idiot as he was a no show in most of those games.

Now show the stats on what he did against he rest of the NFL. Or are you a cherry picker?

Then lets go over the other 3 years.

I wonder what Jameis Winston numbers against top 10 defenses look like.

No, it's how the average of how all QBs played against those defenses.

Maybe this type of thread is not for you...

Here are the best stats. Lost to a terrible Jets team and couldn’t beat a wounded Eagles team for a playoff berth.

The way you guys hold on to that Eagles game is so laughable. Romo lost numerous games to end our season yet you guys never bring them up. Talk about a agenda.

That’s true, but Romo never asked to be the highest paid player in the NFL did he?

Cowboys rank with regards to most passing yards against these defenses:
    BUF 1st
    CHI 1st
    GNB 1st
    MIN 1st
    NWE 6th

I keep hearing the phrase "Garbage Time Stats". Yet... People point to 2 or 3 games which they claim were blowouts by halftime. So... Even if the naysayers are correct and Dak used those 2-3 games to pad his stats... How much padding could actually have been done? The man threw for 4,900 yards. Let's say in the 2-3 games he ran up 400 garbage time yards... He still threw for over 4,500 yards on the season. Also... garbage time doesn't consist of the whole second half of a game... It's usually the last couple drives. Just ask the 93 Oilers if they thought they had the Bills beat at halftime. I wonder if Reich's 4 TDs in the second half counted as garbage stats.

    You tell me......

NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reported Friday that the Cowboys and Romo agreed to a six-year, $108 million contract extension with $55 million in guarantees and a $25 million signing bonus, according to the quarterback's agent, RJ Gonser.

Got that at 32 years old with a bad back........

Those idiots throw in the Packers game that was a blow out and the fact that he beat the NFC East and the Dolphins and they consider it "stat padding". Even though in reality clearly the Cowboys weren't much better than the Dolphins.

Yards seems like a weird stat to defend this. What were his TD passes, what was his QBR or QB Rating?

For example, yes, he threw for 334 against the Bears but his QB rating that game was a mediocre 83. Vikings he seemed to play well, with a rating of 101. NE he was brutal with a rating of 64.

Green Bay? Rating of 84 with 3 interceptions. Not sure I would say he played well there.

Buffalo? Rating of 92 which is decent.

Number of losses when these teams scored as many points as they scored against the Cowboys:
    BUF Zero
    CHI Zero
    GNB Zero
MIN 1 (30-27 vs Seahawks, scored 28 vs Cowboys)
NWE Again the outlier with 4.

The 2nd and 3rd lines of my post...

4 of 5 times he equaled or exceeded that defenses season average for Passer Rating allowed.
4 of 5 times he equaled or exceeded that defenses season average for TDs allowed.
    (passing TDs)

    Put it another way:

GB's pass D gave up a rating of 81. Dak was just above at 84.

Bears pass D gave up a rating of 85. Dak was at 83 for the game.

Buffalo's pass D gave up a rating of 79. Dak had a rating of 92.

NE's pass D gave up a rating of 63. Dak was at 64.

Minnesota pass D gave up a rating of 86. Dak was at 101.

So in two games he played significantly better than the defensive pass rating, one game below and two that were just above so basically he performed around or below average for three of the games.

I missed this........ my bad. Curious as to why you gave yards details but not passer rating. You are a bit bullish with your statement that 4 of 5 times he equaled or exceeded the passer rating allowed.

In two of those 4 games he barely exceeded the pass D rating - GB (84 vs 81) and NE (64 vs 63). So in reality he played well in 2 of the 5 games, not 4.

3 out of 5 games our points scored were less than the teams average allowed. The fact of the matter is that of our 8 losses, we had 4 winnable games in the 4th quarter that Dak did not do anything special to bring home the win.
