Dak has been better than Wentz more than Wentz has been better than Dak. Who will be better this year? Who knows. I think Wentz might just go off. Indy got a steal and Philly continues to be a bunch of clowns in the front office

Wentz at his best was better then anything Dak has done so far though.

Longest winning streak. Dak 11.. Wentz 9
Longest losing streak Dak 3 Wentz 5

Okay those are team stats.. let's focus on their own play..

Games with "perfect passer rating" Dak 1 Wentz 0
Games with passer rating above 100 Dak 32 Wentz 21.
Games with 3 or more TDs Dak 17, Wentz 10
Games above 70% completions Dak 22 Wentz 13 ..
Games below 60% completions Dak 14 Wentz 26
Games with 2 or more INTs Dak 11 Wentz 13


5 best passing games by rating..
Dak 159.3 148.3 141.8 141.7 137.1
Wentz 128.3 126.3 125.9 122.1 121.0

So Wentz's best game ever would not crack Dak's top 5. In fact I took a peek and it might not crack Dak's top 10.

Try as I might I cannot find any objective measure that says Wentz has ever been better than Dak. He basically had one nice stretch in 2017 and then another 4 game stretch in 2019 where he has been good.. For the rest of his career he has been pretty spare. If you find one please post it.

I think you are giving this raw nerve thing too much credence. It's a football discussion forum. People engage on every topic because it's a point of discussion. Declaring to yourself that "most of them deep down know you're right" accomplishes nothing. Declaring that a QB who has ranked in the top 10 in just about every major QB category through the first 4+ years of his career is "average" just makes a person appear to be intellectually dishonest. Either that or they don't know the meaning of the word "average." Dak may not be the best QB in the game but he's closer to the top than he is the bottom.. which by definition makes him better than "average."

Wentz at his best was the MVP of the league before he got hurt. Dak has not had that kind of level of play and never been considered an MVP.

You're just bringing up and comparing career stats. I said that Wentz at his best has played at a higher level then Dak. I never said Wentz has the better career.

Dak has NEVER been better then 2017 Wentz.

Conversely Wentz has been way worse than Dak has as well. Last year Wentz for the worst rank starting QB.
