Dak vs Wentz, Continued

Yea try trading dak in year 2 of his deal. Oh wait you can't. You can cut him but would have more dead money. Daks 1st year is designed to be the lowest cap hit you know that.
People act like they are saving money because of the way Dak’s contract is laid out. I doubt the salary cap increases after 2021. Dak better perform or this will be worse than the Eagles deal with Wentz. At least Wentz was at the top of the draft.

You are way too emotional bound with this whole thing to grasp a rational thought.

Do you really think i felt like i "lost" something, just because my opinion is that Dak wont lead us to a meaningful win ?
My opinion doesnt change just because he got signed. And if he actually will win a meaningful game i wont feel like i lost something.

You are acting like your personal life depends on this. Dont you want to have something that actually counts in your life other than clapping for someone you probably dont even know ?

And btw: I did never say that Wentz is better than Dak or vice versa. All i did is point out that you are emotionally bound into it and you denied it. So much for reading what i or you write.

But as i said you are probably emotionally trapped by this whole Dak thing and cant think straight right now. So calm down first.
The way some people are towards Dak is cult like. They are very emotional. If the Cowboys win a Superbowl with Dak that's great, but I don't think it will happen. The Cowboys overpaid and they will regret it.

So how are the Dak haters towards Dak? Just a different type of cult.

A $22M cap hit is overpaying?

An $18M cap hit next year (if we choose to restructure) is overpaying?

Don’t hurt yourself trying to understand this sport.

People who like this deal are ones who still believe you have to pay a QB at all cost. It's an archaic team building concept.

I dont think we will win anything noteworthy with Prescott.
He is a below average QB and wont get us into any meaningful game.

I consider stop watching the NFL for the next 3-4 years.

But thats not (only) because of the Prescott signing. Its also of the way the games are televised.

A QB who wont get you anywhere is overpaid. No matter the heigth of his contract.
Prescott is a good backup QB. But thats all.

The next four years are totally a waste as a fan. It will pass by quickly.

It won’t be the last. After Dallas wastes 10 years with Dak as their QB, you will see why. Well, maybe you want be able to, but most people will.
You are unable to keep up.

The declaration comment was aimed at you quitting as a fan......more than once. Jeez, dude.

I've been here for a minute or two.......

Four or ten?

Can't have both, Skippy.

Way to go out on a limb!!

.
Your wrong
Dak's cap hit - 2021 22 million, 2022 33.2 million, 2023 44.2 million, 2024 47.2 million. The Cowboys window is about 2 years and then his cap hit really goes up. They couldn't get more than one playoff win with Dak on a rookie contract so they wont go deep into the playoffs overpaying players.

Don't hurt yourself understanding the cap.

No, we just say Dak is average and not worth what they paid him and you guys get bent out of shape. I'm not upset they paid him, I just say they overpaid him and the Cowboys wont get to the Superbowl overpaying an average quarterback.

Yup, the 24/7 obsessive hate to him is.
