Dak vs. Wentz throw chart

Philly runs a pee wee offense. However, today it appears, Wentz threw the ball further than 3 yds.

Wentz continues to make it harder and harder for his supporters. They're going to have to get real creative now. Dude is straight up playing like dookie.

I guess at some point he'll end up leading a game winning drive in the 4th quarter. Until then, LOL.

Glad to see Philly turning into a dumpster fire. Almost makes their hot start worth it. Got their fanbase's hopes up, now this. Haha.

Also, the whole "his receivers suck" thing is way overblown. Reading some of the stuff about them would have you think that they're 100% incapable of getting any separation on every play. It's just not true. Wentz is very much a part of the problem too.

Their receivers suck, their tight ends suck, their offensive line sucks, their secondary sucks, their coaching sucks, their running backs suck, their kicking game sucks, their cheese steaks give you the runs, but other than that they are the best team in the NFC East according to their fans.

Wentz's biggest problem will end up being..............drafted into Philly. When the fans and mediots there turn on him, its over. Ability wise, he would be fine given some patience. but at some point he will be thrown under the bus in that h#ll -hole.

If Dak did that he would be called "unintelligent" and "innaccurate" by Zoners. Both are rookies but are treated very differently.

Dak is throwing strikes and TDs and some Zoners are STILL saying that he isnt accurate, and not nearly as smart as some other quarterbacks. Go figure.

Some of these fans wont be happy until Dak brings a championship ring to their doorstep.

Meh, it was similar around here during RG3's rookie year too. This year it's being magnified even more since we're starting a rookie QB as well. Not surprised at all to see all the chatter.

What you see below is passing "spray" chart of all the passes & incompletions thrown by Carson Wentz in last week's Eagles game against the Cowboys.

As you can see by the sheer number of throws he makes behind the LOS, Wentz' passing numbers are inflated by these low-risk, short throws (ie. screens).

Meanwhile, despite Dak's relatively poor game last week, you can see by the chart (below) that he's making big-boy NFL throws.

I've seen lately where the Philly fans are starting to call Wentz and his OC "hot garbage."

The pass completion points are almost all well within the 10-yard range. Beyond that, problems.

I remember being hipped to the fact Wentz wasn't throwing the ball past the LOS earlier the season. Some poster said he threw 16 passes of less than 3 yards. I could hardly believe so I watched NFLN's "Every Carson Wentz" throw from that game (vs. Pittsburgh?).

I literally counted every throw and couldn't believe it.

It goes to show you how much more Dak has evolved.

I keep getting downvoted in /r/nfl threads on reddit when I talk about how the Eagles conservative playcalling has been to try to protect Wentz. The last 4 games he's either played a super safe game where they tried to let their defense win but it didn't work(Dallas game) or they've tried to let him open it up and he's thrown picks and failed to deliver(against Minnesota and Philly).

He's playing like a rookie. He looks like he has a pretty good future ahead of him, but right now like it or not he's playing like a rookie. Eagles fans just can't do anything except blame it on receiver drops, bad playcalling, etc., everything except the QB himself.
