Ever since his calf injury, he hasn't looked the same. $40 million dollar QBs don't look like this.

Dak is looking worse week to week. He's the only reason why we almost lost this game.

You're thoughts?
Daks contract was a huge mistake. He’s indecisive, afraid to run, holds the ball too long, and is an average qb in every respect. And we pay him super star money. Every time he scrambles I hold my breath. Almost single handedly gave today’s game away. He looks like he’s aged 10 years. Honestly he moves like Rothlesberger. If old Big Ben was our qb I’d like our chances better.

I'd rather be 4-9 because 9-4 means we'll make the playoffs and go absolutely nowhere, have a bad draft pick, and do good enough for no one to be held accountable.

Wishing for your team to lose is for losers.

I could take the bad mechanics because at least that they can coach out of him, but the stupid throws and other bad decisions is another problem altogether. That second INT for a pick 6 at the end of the game was absolutely horrendous. No way should ANY QB be throwing that pass in that situation. Just throw it away if no one is open but throwing a pick 6 with less than 5 minutes left in a 27 - 14 game was worse than a rookie mistake. You are up two scores. Your defense is playing lights out. You cannot take any chances like that. Just awful.

According to Kurt Warner dissecting film... Dak reads too quickly. Who to believe? hmm...

It’s not he “reads to quickly” as a positive, it’s he’s going to them to quickly, not taking the proper read. Like I said, he will take the safest pass in the play. This is more than clear in the second play he references. In the third play he references, he went to the easy out when he had CeeDee running wide open down the middle. And he also is falling away and throwing off his back leg, meaning horrible mechanics which leads him on a late delivery.. And Warner points this out.

In 9:26, he bails on his reads again, and Warner points it out, he breaks pocket and runs left and even says all the WRs do the right thing to bail him out.

11:50 is another clear example of his ansy feet with no pressure on him, and he isn’t patient on his read, even though the third came open.

Point being, his field vision and his pace at which he is going through or ignoring his reads is terrible.

It’s the prime example of “SLOW PROCESSING”…

Man you guys overreact. Daks been mediocre for several games and all of a sudden he's trash. The same posters who went silent over the 5 game win streak are now more active than ever.

Look, he's not been good since his injury. That's a fact. But he's not a bum and is still an elite QB. He's just now showing it right now.

So the implication from this statement is that he can play poorly as long as we don’t pay him 40 million. Once again no one on this forum ever gives a solution. They just complain about Dak. You guys think you just go down to the seven eleven and get a QB. Just plug and play. If the QB is starting and decent, they will get market value. Any other thought on this is delusional

Ok Parcells want a be.
Pointing out the QB hasn’t been good or the offense is ok and not delusional when it’s happening in front of our faces. Saying it isn’t is being delusional.
There is no other solution except for Dak and Moore to figure this out.

Oh I'm not saying him reading too quickly is a positive. Just that the narrative of him reading slowly is false.

It’s NOT a false narrative. I Nobody is saying he doesn’t have the progressions memorized as far as the play-call is concerned…. t’s more accurate to say Warner was saying, in that particular instant, Dak was RUSHING through his reads, in that case going to the easiest play.

His ability to process or read the field is slow, hesitant, conservative and just plain awful at times. When he starts feeling non-existent pressure, it just goes downhill quickly.

We need to support and rally behind Dak and stop the bashing! Yes, he is not playing well at the moment, it’s a game of adjustments, just wait.

My main concern right now is that there is not enough zip on his throws, that may be a result of his injury. Hopefully, he is healing.

Wait are you talking about Dak in the playoffs and the SB? Poor guy, that must suck for you.

Did the Cowboys lose because of Dak today? Uh oh, cant go that route. :muttley:

"duh..........well he is going to make us lose in the future at some point" :lmao2::lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao:

Keep dreaming about us losing. Thats what losers do.

I mean isn't the point of playing all these games to get to the postseason and try to make a run to win a SB?

If Dak plays like he did today, this team likely won't be successful in the postseason. Again, nothing illogical or controversial about that statement. It's really just common sense. To make a run in January, you typically have to get good to great QB play. Dak's clearly capable of that but he has to be sharper/better than he was today. Hopefully with a bad Giants team next week, he can get back into a groove.

If any fan has an issue with that statement, then that says more about them than anything else.

Dak was playing loose and more natural at the beginning of the year. There was a good energy about him and he was really connecting with his receivers. I'm not sure what happened, but he definitely looks like he is more uptight and overthinking his approach. Even his body language on the sideline shots doesn't seem to radiant any of that good energy.

Something happened....................just what? His hammy still? I don't know.
