Earlier in the season, I had Dak as the #14 QB, and I was being dumped on for ranking him so low. Some had Dak as top 5 or *MVP, while majority had Dak in the top 10. Turn out, all of us were being too generous. Dak is in the bottom 1/3 of all QBs.

I had folks on here say that if Dak was on the Lions, they would win more games than with Goff currently. Dak can't even do well even with a stack offense. Goff with no receivers and 49% of the roster being out (covid/flu) is doing better than Dak with a healthy squad. Let never talk about Dak being better than Goff or Wince ever again please.

I also seem to remember that some folks on here mentioned that Dak was better than Herbert as well.
For years I was all over Dak's play, then after the Tampa game I jumped with both feet onto his bandwagon. Well, I have to admit I'm off his wagon for good. He's looks like he doesn't have a clue on what he is doing. I'm starting to wondering if he might have a few personal issues that's affecting his horrendous play. There's been a few times that I thought he might be loaded with the blank looks he's show when things haven't gone his way. It's time to start Rush a couple of games to get Prescot's head right.............

Man you guys overreact. Daks been mediocre for several games and all of a sudden he's trash. The same posters who went silent over the 5 game win streak are now more active than ever.

Look, he's not been good since his injury. That's a fact. But he's not a bum and is still an elite QB. He's just now showing it right now.

It's not an overreaction when you saw great things for this team in the Playoffs and now realize that this team, the way it is playing now, will not do well in the playoffs. People were saying that this year we had a more legit team than the 2014 Cowboys, because this team has a defense and the 2014 Cowboys had everything but. Right now, unless they get their act together, that is not true and the 2014 team is better than this one. The thing some of you guys are not getting is to some of us, our expectations have been raised and its not about getting to the playoffs, it is being a worthy contender once you get there.

Herbert is something different.

He’s Matt Stafford with Pat Mahomes athleticism. Maybe a better athlete than Mahomes.

after watching him for a couple games this season, I said point blank, I’d take him over Mahomes. He’s like 6’ 7. He has a rocket arm, with a quick release that he doesn’t bring high at all. He flies through his progressions. He doesn’t waste movements on his throws. People complain about WRs dropping Dak’s behind the WR, inaccurate, throws. Herbert’s WRs are dropping rockets he places right in their hands every game.

Look how insane this pass was! It’s like a 65 yarder. This is like a Marino arm-talent type of rocket:

I wonder what the excuse will be this week, it's always someone else's fault.
Thank you!Well said.I’m not a Dak lover or hater, but I just tell it how it is.He stinks right now & there’s no if’s and’s or but’s about it.For 40 million a year , I expect a lot more. He’s not even close to a franchise QB right now.And you Dak lovers, what do you have to say about it?What’s your excuse now? It’s becoming a trend now of piss poor play.

It’s NOT a false narrative. I Nobody is saying he doesn’t have the progressions memorized as far as the play-call is concerned…. t’s more accurate to say Warner was saying, in that particular instant, Dak was RUSHING through his reads, in that case going to the easiest play.

His ability to process or read the field is slow, hesitant, conservative and just plain awful at times. When he starts feeling non-existent pressure, it just goes downhill quickly.

When he felt pressure he used to run. I find it hard to believe he’s all of a sudden become this immobile. So is he being instructed not to run until maybe the playoffs? Or just not at all…
Is the calf still bothering him that much?

I doubt Dak has totally recovered from the shoulder injury that occurred before he missed time earlier this season. It might prove interesting to see if he's destined to be operated on for that injury once this season is in the books. The extent of the dramatic change in his effectiveness before that shoulder injury occurred and now seems too drastic to be totally ignored. o_O

Dak has went from having kind of a solid body, to kind of a doughy body....like Romo. But Romo was quicker with his doughy body than Dak is right now. Dak now seems slow at everything....most concerning is his ability to process anything quickly.

Same.. That game was so impressive. The command he had and everything was just unreal. That’s probably his best game ever as a Cowboy and it came with a loss.

It was so so impressive.

Heck I thought he was playing at that MVP level early on too.

But since Denver he’s just back to his classic self and I knew he was back to his classic self during the Chiefs game when we desperately needed a QB to step up and make a play and he just didn’t have the ability to do it.

Dak’s a good solid player but he’s only as good as those who lift him up because he is not lifting anyone up.

Im afraid that QB who played from game 1 to New England is gone and we’re back to Classic Dak.

FO said they don’t want him to run, but that’s any QB. It should be limited. But again, Dak’s 2018 year was his highest by far in terms of running at 75 rushing attempts. And that season he was awful for large stretches. And as far as the red zone, teams started spying him off the QB read option I believe in the second or third year per reports, forcing him to pass.
