Dak is not a bum, he just may not be as elite as some of us want to believe.

I ask myself: Outside of Marino, how many quarterbacks do I consider to have been elite, that haven't won a superbowl? I guess people have different standards on what elite is... I am even willing to listen to arguments that Dan Marino wasn't elite. To me, being elite is something you prove and that is hard to argue with.

after watching him for a couple games this season, I said point blank, I’d take him over Mahomes. He’s like 6’ 7. He has a rocket arm, with a quick release that he doesn’t bring high at all. He flies through his progressions. He doesn’t waste movements on his throws. People complain about WRs dropping Dak’s behind the WR, inaccurate, throws. Herbert’s WRs are dropping rockets he places right in their hands every game.

Look how insane this pass was! It’s like a 65 yarder. This is like a Marino arm-talent type of rocket:

He currently had now 2 seasons with 30 TDs or more. Dak has only 1 season of 30 TDs LOL.

I said the same thing in Herbert first season. Great mind think alike.

Earlier in the season, I had Dak as the #14 QB, and I was being dumped on for ranking him so low. Some had Dak as top 5 or *MVP, while majority had Dak in the top 10. Turn out, all of us were being too generous. Dak is in the bottom 1/3 of all QBs.

I had folks on here say that if Dak was on the Lions, they would win more games than with Goff currently. Dak can't even do well even with a stack offense. Goff with no receivers and 49% of the roster being out (covid/flu) is doing better than Dak with a healthy squad. Let never talk about Dak being better than Goff or Wince ever again please.

I also seem to remember that some folks on here mentioned that Dak was better than Herbert as well.
I have you as a bottom quartile fan....you haters come a dime a dozen......lol! Bola de pendejos! We're 9-4 and you're still crying! Miserable fans are exhausting.

Same.. That game was so impressive. The command he had and everything was just unreal. That’s probably his best game ever as a Cowboy and it came with a loss.

It was so so impressive.

Heck I thought he was playing at that MVP level early on too.

But since Denver he’s just back to his classic self and I knew he was back to his classic self during the Chiefs game when we desperately needed a QB to step up and make a play and he just didn’t have the ability to do it.

Dak’s a good solid player but he’s only as good as those who lift him up because he is not lifting anyone up.

Im afraid that QB who played from game 1 to New England is gone and we’re back to Classic Dak.

Tampa Bay was his best game as a Cowboy. His Minnesota game a few years back was probably his second best, but he choked at the end, throwing it at Zeke’s feet. I say that game, because he was on and made throws against tight coverage.

The problem is though every QB in the NFL, especially with solid personnel can have a great game every now and then.

Elite and greatness is about consistency at that level.

There are certain truths;

We won.
We’re 9-4.
We’re not perfect. Never will be.
We’re all just powerless speculators.
The whining never stops.
The players make too much.
This is supposed to be fun.

Your post seems to be an exercise in self flatulence….
Pretty sure you were quiet about this first five weeks of the season when Dak was playing at MVP level. Now that he’s playing through injuries, offense is out of sync, running game sucks, and Dak is struggling and here you are talking like you knew all along.

Anybody that compares Dak to Herbert, should never be allowed to speak on football again. They should not even be allowed to come within a mile of a pee wee football field.

Beside the usual suspect, I got a list of names somewhere.

Not because of Dak. Now more and more people are opening their eyes and seeing that any QBs would be successful with this team.
It's obvious that some here have an agenda against Dak....he's signed and here for at least 3 years.....let it go

I don’t deny the calf might be hurting but his lack of running isn’t the issue…his accuracy seems to be off.

He's not fully pushing off the injured leg on many of his throws. And he is off while throwing on the run which used to be money. That's why I think something is still not right with his calf.

Nope I was still here, in fact I been active more this year than any other year. You can go back and look up my post about the Bucs game. I was not impress with Dak because the Bucs secondary is atrocious.

Dak now is not like Dak was for the first seven games. You don’t play like he was as a bottom third QB. That’s total BS. He has fallen off but the fact he was playing much better shows something is wrong with him…physically or mentally or both. You guys just don’t remember what a bottom third QB truly is. Maybe you weren't a fan back in the early 2000’s.

I saw a list that had Dak in top 5 elite QB, but no Herbert. I said the list was basically trash if Herbert isn’t in there. I mean top 5 is pushing it, since he’s playing at an MVP level. To be fair, I believe the poster, who has been one of Dak’s biggest champions the last couple years, has started souring on him as a result of this stretch of bad ball.

The whole offense is built around Herbert and his ability to make these type of throws. He’s in the first year of a new OC. This isn’t a project, constantly fine-tuning an offense to adjust to your skill-set like we have in Dallas.

With Herbert, it’s about “how much can I push the limits of this offense with a guy like Herbert?”

Worst thing this franchise has ever done, and that on top giving Zeke that extension (learn nothing from Gurley)? This is pain, this is not happiness.

14 or 15 is perhaps the most accurate ranking for Dak. He's a decent QB who needs a ton of help to mask his deficiencies.
