Earlier in the season, I had Dak as the #14 QB, and I was being dumped on for ranking him so low. Some had Dak as top 5 or *MVP, while majority had Dak in the top 10. Turn out, all of us were being too generous. Dak is in the bottom 1/3 of all QBs.

I had folks on here say that if Dak was on the Lions, they would win more games than with Goff currently. Dak can't even do well even with a stack offense. Goff with no receivers and 49% of the roster being out (covid/flu) is doing better than Dak with a healthy squad. Let never talk about Dak being better than Goff or Wince ever again please.

I also seem to remember that some folks on here mentioned that Dak was better than Herbert as well.
Does a team have to have a top 10 QB to win a Super Bowl?

Dak's post game comments annoy me more than anything.....says the same EXACT thing EVERY week!!!

To be fair, it’s football. Football talk gets pretty repetitive. Not sure how much you can vary it every week.

Worst thing this franchise has ever done, and that on top giving Zeke that extension (learn nothing from Gurley)? This is pain, this is not happiness.
You cant change it, so why worry about it....we're 9-4....enjoy brother....

I saw a list that had Dak in top 5 elite QB, but no Herbert. I said the list was basically trash if Herbert isn’t in there. I mean top 5 is pushing it, since he’s playing at an MVP level.

The whole offense is built around Herbert and his ability to make these type of throws. He’s in the first year of a new OC. This isn’t a project, constantly fine-tuning an offense to adjust to your skill-set like we have in Dallas.

With Herbert, it’s about “how much can I push the limits of this offense with a guy like Herbert?”

Imagine if Staley didn't hire Joe Lombardi (0-16 Lions) as Herbert offensive play-caller. Imagine if Reid was calling play for Herbert instead. We haven't even see Herbert use much of his athleticism yet, and we know he is as fast if not faster than Mahomes. Herbert is also better at reading the field than Mahomes as well and doesn't use his athletic ability to get out of a jam.

Now imagine if we had Herbert as our QB? We are a SB contender easily.

He's not fully pushing off the injured leg on many of his throws. And he is off while throwing on the run which used to be money. That's why I think something is still not right with his calf.
You could be right……I honestly feel he looks frazzled in the pocket…maybe it’s lack of confidence in his calf….

Dak now is not like Dak was for the first seven games. You don’t play like he was as a bottom third QB. That’s total BS. He has fallen off but the fact he was playing much better shows something is wrong with him…physically or mentally or both. You guys just don’t remember what a bottom third QB truly is. Maybe you weren't a fan back in the early 2000’s.

Dak was setting Quincy Carter record levels of futility in regards to a Cowboys QB before Amari came…. the stretch you are talking about when everything was going right, one can point out to you multiple stretches where he was downright bad and he was the main reason why..

It was a mistake letting him play against the Broncos. He should’ve rested again.
I don’t know what it is. The calf. The ankle. The shoulder. Or is it all of it? Lack of trust in the O-line? Confidence? What else could it be? As long as we play well enough to clinch and win the division comfortably, he can do whatever he wants. Problems lies within the playoffs. The Dak we’re seeing now will not suffice.

Because we both already know the end result, we say SB every year, and we haven't even reach the NFCCG since I started watching the Cowboys some 2+ decades ago. I was still a child back then for pete sake! Any halfwit would make a better owner than Jerry and a better GM than his son.

How can I enjoy it when it the same thing every single year for the past 20+ years?????

It’s not he “reads to quickly” as a positive, it’s he’s going to them to quickly, not taking the proper read. Like I said, he will take the safest pass in the play. This is more than clear in the second play he references. In the third play he references, he went to the easy out when he had CeeDee running wide open down the middle. And he also is falling away and throwing off his back leg, meaning horrible mechanics which leads him on a late delivery.. And Warner points this out.

In 9:26, he bails on his reads again, and Warner points it out, he breaks pocket and runs left and even says all the WRs do the right thing to bail him out.

11:50 is another clear example of his ansy feet with no pressure on him, and he isn’t patient on his read, even though the third came open.

Point being, his field vision and his pace at which he is going through or ignoring his reads is terrible.

It’s the prime example of “SLOW PROCESSING”…

Thanks for sharing. That was definitely enlightening.
Summary: Dak isn't reading the field right, isn't setting his feet right and rushing his throws because he's feeling the pass rush.

That half wit won 3 SBs for us.....apparently you're too young to remember or appreciate that....

Dak is a top 10 QB for sure, he’s just in a funk. All QB’s go through one
