It only absurd to you because he on a stack team where his deficiency can be hidden. Put him on the Lions, and they don't win a single game. Put him on the Jaguars and no one will even notice him. But the Cowboys are the most stack team in the league just like when Jimmy G on the 2019 49ers.
Good example. They will not get it though!!

Its insane that the highest paid player on our team was the absolute worst player on the entire field today

We need a QB

Was he worst then Heineken & Allen ? Ah no . Let’s be accurate. I was waiting for Rivera to pull his Qb he was atrocious but it took an injury for someone to wake Rivera up , hey coach it’s 24-0 Mike McCarthy is laughing across the street Ron ….

Earlier in the season, I had Dak as the #14 QB, and I was being dumped on for ranking him so low. Some had Dak as top 5 or *MVP, while majority had Dak in the top 10. Turn out, all of us were being too generous. Dak is in the bottom 1/3 of all QBs.

I had folks on here say that if Dak was on the Lions, they would win more games than with Goff currently. Dak can't even do well even with a stack offense. Goff with no receivers and 49% of the roster being out (covid/flu) is doing better than Dak with a healthy squad. Let never talk about Dak being better than Goff or Wince ever again please.

I also seem to remember that some folks on here mentioned that Dak was better than Herbert as well.
Do you have the power to make changes on this team?

This is why we literally blew it right the Romo decision. With the 2016 OL and RG, you had a QB who was facing cover 2 his whole career under Garrett, to a situation where the offense could dictate to the defense what it wanted to do.

They could have played the tight SB window and trained Dak for a couple of years and then started him and one could tolerate the training period a little.
Amen

Everyone forgets that! Without Atlanta game we woulda been 1-4!
Right! And now what will happen is some Dakazoid will argue with you about the Giants game where he got hurt and want to give him credit for that win - as if that 2nd win somehow makes it a good record?!?!?!?!

Tampa Bay was his best game as a Cowboy. His Minnesota game a few years back was probably his second best, but he choked at the end, throwing it at Zeke’s feet. I say that game, because he was on and made throws against tight coverage.

The problem is though every QB in the NFL, especially with solid personnel can have a great game every now and then.

Elite and greatness is about consistency at that level.
Completely agree

We need to support and rally behind Dak and stop the bashing! Yes, he is not playing well at the moment, it’s a game of adjustments, just wait.

My main concern right now is that there is not enough zip on his throws, that may be a result of his injury. Hopefully, he is healing.
Yes because Dak already kicked out all the Bandwagon Fans . . . Dak needs all the support He can get

No I understand completely. I understand that we won today. So you trolls cant use your usual excuse that we lost because of Dak. LOL

So you have to make up some mythical scenario like a future game and blame Dak for losing that one. :lmao2::lmao2::lmao::lmao:

I also understand that although Dak and the passing game played poorly today, no one on offense has been worse then Zeke and the run game. 7 weeks and counting.

If we dont fix one or either, then yah we probably wont win the SB. But then I didnt need some dak hating troll like you to tell me that.

Come on Roy, that troll comment only works on a few posters on here anymore. @Sydla has been a level-headed respected poster on here for years now. He has no hidden agenda, I believe he only wants to see the Cowboys win like the rest of us.

Yeah they're pissed.. Can't piss on a Cowboys win so they fall back on doggin the QB. All very predictable.
the thread is about Dak's performance, today and the past several weeks. Not the outcome of the game.

It's obvious your perspective on Dak comes from a place of emotion, which prevents you from being logical.

Get a grip, spare everyone with your "hater" nonsense and at least start being honest with reality - the guy has struggled for several weeks now.

Ever since his calf injury, he hasn't looked the same. $40 million dollar QBs don't look like this.

Dak is looking worse week to week. He's the only reason why we almost lost this game.

You're thoughts?

The shoulder injury and the calf injury both seemed potential factors today. There's no question, though, that Dak is far from the QB that looked so good at the starting point of 2021. The defense is what deserves credit, without doubt, for today's win in Washington. I'm sure many of us are hopeful that Dak might somehow get over his inconsistencies. Right now, it doesn't appear to be happening. I'd love to see him overcome it but wouldn't be inclined to bet on it for a while yet.

Did you black out and forget how we did when we DID have Dak last season? We sucked.
So what QB are you going to magically dial up and offer Dak's job to? Its all a moot point. Jerry will decide when its time to move on from Dak. As a fan you have a choice: support Dak and the team, or find a different team to follow.
