It’s becoming a common trend on this forum to defend Dak by going after one of the greatest QBs ever. The only QB I’d reluctantly would choose over Aikman is maybe Brady or Peyton Manning. That’s a big maaaaybe though.

Dak has flashes and admittedly can have a good game but having a good game isn’t enough in this league. He’s not a terrible qb but he’s not good enough to get us over the hump. I remember the defense giving up less than 20 points in a playoff game v SF and Dak well looked like Dak against a good team .

Dak has had some of the best Cowboys rosters ever constructed. Those teams from 21 to 23 were stacked and Dak was the main reason we couldn’t get it done. Even if the roster is rebuilt to elite status in the next year or two, I have no confidence that Dak can win when it matters.
