But there are elite quarterbacks who have retired with 0 Superbowl wins like Jim Kelly, Dan Marino, Warren Moon, Randall Cunningham, Archie Manning, Dan Fouts, Cam Newton, etc.

Well he was elite coming out of college. Unfortunately, he was drafted to a brand new expansion franchise called the New Orleans Saints.

New teams are literally filling out every position on the team from starters to every level of backups. He still managed to play great football in the NFL despite the carnage of his those Saints team.

Had he got drafted to a team that was already established, his elite skills would have really shown.

When a Defense is 100% committed to stoping the run, pretty sure the QB's job becomes significantly easier.

it has been a lot of reasons, all go back to jones boys.
A QB cant do it alone , it takes a good org,team,and hc and staff to win a SB. Same applies to getting in playoffs and making a good showing, getting to a champ game, or just getting to a SB.

With the jones boys never doing enough at the right times it has killed many chances at getting to a SB.
After parcells quit they had a young romo and a good team, but the jones boys hired cupcake wade,and of course big red JG. Then JG, then mike, all bad choices, and shotty for me jury is still out on him.

Teams win SB's not QB's.

This is a fact.
Troy Irvin,and Emmit didnt win those SB's they were just part of a team that did.
They had a # 1 defense,great ST's, and great offense, and a great HC who could hire his own staff, and also
could do trades, and Draft however he wanted to. Complete control of personnel.

'And he was the voice of the team, till jerry started doing his own PC's with steak dinners for free so people would show up lol.
That is when Jimmy decided to leave, you cant have 2 people giving PC's lol esp when one is jerry.

They won 1 SB with the team jimmy built, but after that it has been a parody of futility and disorganized chaos.

And it continues to this day. The parsons trade is a good example.It was done hastily and wasnt logical it was emotional.
no coach since jimmy has had any power with drafting or personnel or even staff lol.

Half the time the HC has no power over the OC ! Only with the cowboys does this occur.

What a total waste of a decade this has been. I’ve been saying it since 2019 and haven’t been proved wrong yet. Dak has flashes and admittedly can have a good game but having a good game isn’t enough in this league. He’s not a terrible qb but he’s not good enough to get us over the hump. He’s not good enough to will his team to victory. He’s good enough to keep you semi relevant but that’s it. Dak Cousins ladies and gents

Troy stepped up in the playoffs and rose to the pressure. Dak choked under pressure in the playoffs. That being said, the defense helped Troy out. The defenses since then have almost always choked in the playoffs.
