The Cowboys D held the 49ers to under 20 points in the play offs yet Dak still couldn't get it done yet I'm sure just on this one occasion there will be countless excuses given by a certain poster yet reasons why other quarterbacks have failed to win in even more trying situations will never be highlighted.

Pathetic bias from some posters on here to justify their weird infatuation with Dak Prescott. A man who has put up Ryan Fitzpatrick type numbers this season (26 touchdowns and 10 interceptions) yet apparently it's an outstanding MVP type season. Funnily enough Aaron Rodgers is having a similar season at like 80 years old!

Aaron Rodgers QBR is ranked 27th.

If you want to make a close comparison, it would be your God, Mahomes whom Dak beat on Thanksgiving.

It's been 30 years. It's more than just Dak.

The sad thing is that they lucked in to both Romo and Dak. They’ve invested nothing in the position for 30 years. Once he’s gone, it’s highly likely we go back to Campo style Cowboys teams. Dak and Romo have warts, but at least you feel like they gave you a shot at winning, unlike some of the bums that can directly after Aikman.

Remember how bad of a leader Aikman was in 1989. Cowboys were 1-15 and Aikman was the worst leader ever. Can’t believe they kept him around. Then 3 years later he learned how to lead and how to will the Cowboys to win.

Jerry was right. The Cowboys didn’t need Jimmy Johnson. They had Aikman to will them to victory.

And that’s the story of most teams in the NFL.

Unfortunately at any given time there’s only a handful or less of QB’s elite enough to carry their teams to a SB.

The rest have to build great teams around less than elite QB’s which we have failed miserably with Romo and Prescott.

The problem is we haven’t had a consistently good teams this era with Romo or Prescott.

Yes, perhaps we had one season where we over achieved as a team and still come up short in playoffs .

And while both QB’s certainly had some blunders in the playoffs neither of those games in 13 win season could we say it was our QB’s which cost us.
