I am wondering why the team that coached the South (Jags) and why they didn't see enough of him to take him?

FRISCO, Texas -- First impressions matter. At least they did for Dak Prescott.

On Jan. 27, 2016, the day before the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, the Dallas Cowboys, who were coaching the North squad, got an hour to meet with the players from the South team inside the Renaissance Riverview Plaza Hotel.

The Cowboys had Jason Garrett, offensive coordinator Scott Linehan and quarterbacks coach Wade Wilson meet with Arkansas' Brandon Allen, North Carolina State's Jacoby Brissett, Alabama's Jake Coker and Prescott.

Well, they went Defense with their first 5 picks... waited til the 6th to take Allen. Defense was clearly the main priority for them. They went that way in rounds 1-4 and didn't have a 5th round pick. They may have liked Dak but didn't want to give up extra picks to get him.

Well, the Jags do have a very young franchise QB
And who is to say they wouldn't have taken him a few picks after Dallas did anyway.

Pretty much every team passed on Dak at least 4 times in the draft, including Dallas.

Chuckie saw it too. Whatever 'it' is, he has it in bunches. Just a rare natural born leader people follow without question.

I thought Dallas first wanted Carson Wentz. Then, Dallas tried to trade up for Paxton Lynch (Jerry said he made a mistake and should of traded up to get him), Connor Cook (Oakland swooped up one pick ahead of them). I may have missed one qb. Am I missing something??
