Yeah. He's been pretty dreadful the last two games.

Prescott definitely limits this offense with his lack of arm talent. The hope is that will improve over time but right now he's making plays to win tight games at the end that he is most responsible for those games being so tight in the first place.

I'm hoping for like 170 yards passing with this elite supporting cast on Sunday. Maybe even 175.

That has more to do with the number of attempts and play calling than Dak. And you know it.

On a sidebar:

Good God!!! There seem to be a ton of trolls in this thread. More than usual. Not pointing the figure at anyone in particular. But Holy Smokes!!!
Well, one troll, in particular.

This statement makes no sense.

Dak's worst game other than the season opener was against Philly in week 7 when he had a 79.8 rating, a pick, two sacks, 19/39 and only 1 TD. Since then, he has been over 100 rating every game. Well over 100 in most cases.

So if teams have adjusted, they are doing a horrible job of it.
He did not have a good game against Minnesota regardless of what his rating was. He could not back the safeties off at all, and he finally ran into a team that could cover Beasley and he didn't have an answer. That's why he was holding the ball so long and taking off running... he's not capable of fitting the ball into tight windows. If you take away the garbage dump offs to Zeke that went nowhere, we only completed 8 passes to a TE/WR for the entire game. Had we not gotten a special teams turnover gift and lost, that simply would not have been an acceptable amount of chances taken.

Exactly, we were lucky to win last week. Let's see how he does this week

What bothered me against Washington was that Dak had receivers running wide open down the seam on multiple occasions, and he either doesn't see it, or doesn't want to make that throw.

And Philly completely baffled him for 3 1/2 quarters before inexplicably backing off the line of scrimmage and playing deep coverage. He had about 85 yards passing in the fourth quarter.

Dak is holding the ball way too long, which this offensive line allows more than most.

That worries me come playoff time against Seattle, or in a wild shootout against Atlanta.

I think that is an excellent point and may be where the rubber meets the road in the playoffs.

His YPA the last two games:

vs Washington: 17-24-195-1-0 8.13 YPA
vs Minny: 12-18-139-1-0 7.72 YPA

These are yards per attempt...his yards per completion is significantly higher. Try again.

Dez was wide open in that game for a 50 yard pass that inflated his numbers. I watched the entire Minnesota game and he couldn't do anything

It's truly amazing that when we have a phenomenal rookie QB having arguably the greatest rookie season of all time, and the team is 11-1, that we still have fans/posters that **** all over him. Sometimes this fan base is truly something else.

No question. Do the Commanders have a great defense too?

Teams have adjusted to him. Kaepernick lit the world on fire for about a year

Kaepernick was a run-first quarterback. He used his legs to get his receivers open. And he really never developed into a pocket passer. He probably would have had a better career had Harbaugh stayed in San Fran. Now, you're seeing years of not adequately being groomed as a passing quarterback.

That's not Dak.

I was talking about the recent games. Look at the thread title, if Minnesota didn't fumble we lose that game

I don't that's what is going on here. He has missed some wide open TD throws and been slowed down recently. He will improve in those areas as he gains more experience. The problem is that you have a guy sitting on the bench that probably doesn't miss those throws..... its a pretty unique situation. Most teams with a rook QB would be ecstatic and satisfied with his play, but most wouldn't have the best record in football eyeing a SB.

You're changing subjects. I replied to your "2 yards per completion" comment. BTW, did that 50 yard completion not count for some reason? What would you be saying had he not completed that pass...or not seen him at all to even attempt the pass? You're just plucking stuff out of thin air to back an extremely flawed point. Give it up.

I'm not talking about point out mistakes. I'm talking about the usual suspects around here, and others with like 10 posts that just trash him.
