These folks are ridiculous man. I'd never go to war with any of them. I need people in the fox hole with me that are going to hunker down and have my back when crap gets heavy. Not ppl that are going to jump out and run in the opposite direction at the slightest hint of gunfire filling the air.

I know his stats were not great. There is much more to evaluating a players performance than statistics.

If you could not see the serious limitations in Dak’s game Sunday I don’t know what to tell you. They were obvious.

I hope he can learn to relax and the game slows down for him so he can get comfortable and go through his reads. Right now he’s not doing it. I think if he doesn’t learn to do it he will be out of the league in a few years.

They've already dumbed down the offense to ridiculous standards as it is. How many 5 yard patterns can they run every play? This short game offense is already tailored for him specifically because he can't throw a deep ball. And they hired a guy just to train the receivers to run better routes - all for Dak's benefit. If he can't succeed in an offense tailored to offset his many limitations, as it is now, what kind of an offense would he succeed in? Please elaborate...

Why cant they fix it short term other teams do it th NFL and football is a game of adjustments ,make good adjustments and win games simple

I implied that in another thread.

Since the last 5 games of last season and now this one..

he has gone into overwhelm and is not playing well.

Not playing instinctly like in 2016.

I have no clear idea why.

Other than Witten and Dez helping him produce plays that masked his short-comings.

As bad as Dez had in 2017..

Dez is the type of WR who runs short and medium routes which DAK has confidence in.

So it's hard to know if DAK is the problem or the coaches or the players around him.

It's not one thing.

Yes, pointing out stats and having your back in a foxhole under gunfire is a perfectly reasonable comparison to draw.

I wouldn't want to go to war with you either, I need someone in my foxhole that understands what is happening around us and make rational decisions based on that information so I don't end up catching friendly fire.

Yeah but all of his passing stats are identical to Prescott's. So if Prescott is viewed to have limitations then how did Carolina beat us?

They made a couple more plays than we did on both sides of the ball. Oversimplified sure, but that's really what it all boiled down to.

No Doubt. He's played 33 games. Only 8 of those games were bad, However 5 of those 8 have happened in the last 10 games. What has changed? He didn't forget how to play. He needs to figure it out and get back on track, because he is on his own with this team.
