Dak's pretty good

Dak's 974 passing yards over two games is an NFL record. BOOM!

I'm not claiming that he can't do it in the first half or when the scores are level but even taking into account the state of the defense, in every game this season and most games of last season, the big stats and yards were mostly lit up in the second half of games. The offensive fumbles etc are often made early in games. We fall well behind and with our defense it's all she wrote. The offense needs to be more efficient in the first half to avoid the desperate Dak stuff in the second half.

How anyone can watch the last few games and accuse him of being a one read QB baffles me.

The guy has three TDs in the last two weeks alone thrown to his third or fourth read.

Scrub has 9 total passing TDs while leading the league in yardage once again and throwing this much, with talent all over the field on offense and Josh Allen has 15. Four of Dak’s TDs came against the Browns in garbage time. Your over-exxagerating for this pretender in regards to progressions. Defenses don’t care about his garbage yardage when he’s getting blown out.

Dak should have like 12 INTe by now if DBs could catch his balls. But what can we say, even his WRs can’t catch a lot of his ducks.

So finally, here comes the truth now. Romo sour grapes still upsetting you. Some can’t just let it go...

I’ve been open about this truth for years. There is nothing I’m hiding unlike the Dak-stans who claim they don’t support this mediocrity, because they hated Romo. The comedy of then is they are now leveraging the excuses for their boy that they used to deny for Romo, but the reality is that these excuses were actually valid during the time of Romo. Jason Garrett didn’t call play here’s since 2013 and we are now seeing JG in all his glory with the Giants, who can’t field a RG to save his life and had Barkley running at 1 YPC before he tore his ACL. But Dak was ‘held back’ by Romo, while Dak can’t even run a traditional 5-7 step drop.

Garbage time is a myth, even if you attempted to use it in it's correct form.

Dak had 180 yards passing and 2 TDS in the 1st quarter.

He’s playing behind a makeshift OL and setting all-time passing records for the first 4 games of the season.

The offense is averaging 31.5 points game. All earned the hard way since our pathetic defense never generates a turnover or gives us a short field.

I’m going to greatly miss Dak when he signs with another team and we have a scrub at QB instead of a stud.

Says another Romo hater talking about empty stats. You Dak-stans are hilarious in your hypocrisy.

This scrub has zero points in the first quarter against the Rams and Falcons, and has only put up numbers against garbage secondaries that are allowing other mediocre QBs to put up yardage.

Dak also fumbled on a drive after Zeke ran it three times in a row for a first down in Dallas own territory, leading to a Cowboys score. The next drive Zeke only runs once for five yards, while stat padder Dak has the ball in his hands six out of seven times for another garbage drive that stalled. So your boy Dak scrubbed period and went silent despite all these ‘stats’ in the first half.

The very net drive in the third, once again and three and out with the legend that is Dak getting sacked for a six yard loss after taking another deep shot to Cooper. That’s all this one read QB does. Defenses are giving him so much man and one safety, they are daring him to beat them.

You obviously don't watch much football.

Teams are on pace right now to break the all-time records for the league in yardage and points scored.

The NFL is now the NBA.
If you’re going there, aren’t you arguing against yourself? Everyone can get huge numbers now, but Dak is a stat padder because he has more?

Why isn’t this just about circumstance — a combination of being down multiple scores and a banged up OL that isn’t getting running lanes open. That pushes the game plan to passing 50 times a game. The fact that Dak can still make it a game under those circumstances doesn’t make him a bum stat padder.

Stats mean absolutely nothing. Zero, zilch, nada.

When you're down 41-14, half that problem is YOU. I'm tired of Dak and his late-game failures to come from behind and rack up stats but never win.

Unless you play fantasy football, that's pointless.

This narrative is a little twisted because Dak had 180 yards and 2 TDs IN THE FIRST QUARTER!!! All Obviously ALL of his yards did not come in garbage time. It's not his fault the defense can't stop a good high team right now. The Cowboys want to be balanced and control the clock (to protect said crappy defense) so they don't air it out mercilessly until they absolutely have to. At this point I am prepared to say that until further notice this team needs to start the game with scoring 50 in mind. Open up in 4 or 5 wide and play the whole game in up tempo mode because the defense is too bad to play traditional football. You can't ask an offense to never turn the ball over or never go three and out which is what our putrid defensive play is doing. There is no bigger fan of the running game than I, but there is no protecting this defense. It sucks too bad. We can't come into a game thinking we can establish Zeke, control the clock or any such thing. Doing that we will punt on half our possessions. Meanwhile our opponents will be punting on less than a third of theirs while scoring TDs on the others. We gotta play track meet football until the defense shows they can hold a competent offense under 35.

Dak was top 3 in dropped INTs by DBs last year. I don’t see you Dakstans talking about how WRs like Cooper drop balls every now and then, other than to free Dak of blame. Dak probably leads the league in dropped INTs by DBs this year at this rate.

Please share your source for dropped Ints. And no I'm not a Dak lover or hater, just an objective fan that considers the positives and negatives.

I'll share a source with you on adjusted INTs... As you can see every QB has Ints dropped.

And? Every QB has WRs that drop balls. Dak has 10 per FO, which puts him in top 3, exactly like I stated. According to QB Data mine, he had 16 dropped. The point is, no matter which stats you use, Dak is in the top among QBs that get really lucky.

Give it some time. Too Romo a couple of years before the injuries Hit him. He was injury free until he turned 31i believed

Nope.. Romo broke his wrist and missed 3 games in 2008... Remember the Brad Johnson debacles? He was 28 that year. Two years later he got taken out for the season with the broken collarbone .. he was 30.. then he had the broken ribs in 2011.. and then the herniated disk in 2013 (32) .. The back cost another game in 2014 (33) . Then the collarbone took him out again in 2015... (34).. and then finally the back again in 2016. Romo was hurt his entire career pretty much. Dak had played more consecutive games by the end of his third year than Romo ever did. As much as I have hated watching us lose these games I have to admit watching Dak sling it around has been a thing of beauty. It's even more impressive when I think about what's going on with his offensive line. A rookie at RT, another rookie at center, a gimpy Williams at LG. It's wonder he hasn't been killed. So many of the passes he threw yesterday were with people all around him. Hands tugging at his jersey, swinging by his face and he stood in there and delivered strikes for the most part. That gets me excited for what the future holds for this kid. I've always said any QB can stand back there with all day patting the ball until somebody comes open. Great QBs can make throws even without a clean pocket and even if the receiver is only open by inches. That 4th down throw to Cooper was a laser shot into about a 6 inch window. 2020 is probably a Mexican season for us.. (NACHO YEAR) but the future of this offense looks extremely bright with Dak at QB.

Because he’s a stat padder, one-read QB with a fake good boy routine who throws everybody under the bus when things get tough and people start looking at him. And we wasted a tight Sb window with an all-pro line to cater to this bum and what could have been a generational RB, while Romo bled for the incompetence of Garrett, who is doing his magic in NY right now, and this opportunist organization, for a cheaper contract, had the audacity to bench Romo for this clown and Romo wasn’t even allowed to compete for this fragile pretender, who spoke about ‘respect’ in an interview when he didn’t get paid what he clearly wasn’t worth, this off-season..
********. Coop has 37 catches, Gallup 13, CD 21, Sgt. Shultz 18, Zeke 23, Wilson 8, Brown 7, Bell 4 and Pollard 5. He spreads the ball all over the place based on who's open. His stats are huge because the team is always playing from behind. Get outta here with your trolling trash.

What does that have to do with progressions?

This dude is a very, very good QB. If he's not elite, he knocking on the door. I don't agree with his haters, I mean, critics. I give you guys a little grief just to havebe some fun, but if you still think he's the problem, you've lost all credibility with me.

I hated Garrett because he sucked, I don't get why you think Dak sucks. Tell me why, and leave the money out of it, there are MANY overpaid players in pro sports.
Those of you Dak lovers, feel free to tell us why.

With all Dak's yardage stats (Garbage Stats), no is talking about Dak for MVP...Why? Because he has turned the ball over 6 times and is leading his team to Loses, not Wins. The best QB's don't turn the ball over, and they WIn!
