It’s really is crazy that 6th grade level “bad words” are outlawed on this board, but posting the most hateful things possible about a player is more than ok. A couple weeks back someone posted speculating that Dak had an addiction to pain killers…all good
Speculation isn't the same as accusation. Somehow theories as to why a player seems mentally checked out is now "hateful"? Good gosh society has turned into a bunch of easily offended babies.

I don't think it's possible to do it on purpose.

I do think he purposely looked for a chose the option that would keep him out the longest though.
I mean pretty much everyone when they heard the injury described said the best case was 8 weeks of recovery so the last week of the season. So the best case scenario is he might have been able to play week 17 when the team is 3-13 and I guarantee they would not be having him play that last game when the team is 3-13.

This.

I’m a football (soccer, sorry englishmen) fan and always been so into it. Its is very very very common players get injured in a horrible season and use it to not play so their value doesn’t plunge, some or them even fake it.

I think we all agree that Jerry moves all strings at the “organization”, i wouldn’t be surprised if he planned all this.

I agree conspiracy theories are crazy and serve almost no purpose, but its well known that happens in other sports and we also know how Jerry do business, and take a guess, this a business.
Of course it happens in other sports and in football however they don't typically get as detailed as saying "his hamstring is torn off the bone". You would see them say something like "he suffered a soft tissue injury" and just call it week to week. That is how other teams do it in the NFL and it would hold up just fine. Or they could pick any of the other minor injuries and rest him with those.

This is textbook of a conspiracy theory though. They make sense until you analyze them with the slightest bit of scrutiny.

Just because something is hateful doesn’t mean it’s offensive.

Dak's season ending injury was the most cupcake injury I've ever seen! Not even touched, just some random fluke injury that only a 60 million a year QB that doesn't want to deal with the inconvenience of having some rookie OLs blocking for him. Poor baby...
He is older and he is more injury prone. Dak is in decline.

So you think Dak caused this injury on purpose?

He tore his hammy of the bone intentionally?
No but if he didn't get his money he wouldn't have gotten hurt he would be trying to ensure he gets his big payday by any means necessary

I mean that really made me laugh. Dak is such a lame duck. Proper bum QB. Other teams' fans must be laughing their heads off at his contract extension. Progress stopper.
a progess stopped is one that prevents a superior younger player from playing, what superior younger QB has 4 prevented from playing?

It was merely speculation postulating on why he's been a basket case, nothing more or less. If you hate speculation, perhaps forums aren't the place for you. Again, it's not accusation. Don't like it? Tough.

You guys throw around "hateful" way too often. It's crying wolf. If someone didn't find it so offensive, they wouldn't bother even replying to it. See how that works? It was merely speculation to try to figure out why in the heck Dak has regressed so much. Not only that, but they wouldn't get so bent out of shape about it and attack the poster rather than the message.

When I predicted before the Falcons game that Dak would be injured within the next few weeks, there was reasoning behind my madness.
It all starts with his mental state which let's face it is not one of the strongest on the field if you get my drift here.
The subconscious is a strong motivator and deep down I knew it would lead him to find a way out of the dilemma he was facing which had his ineptness out in full view for all to see.
Boom the injury..........true or not he just can't handle the PRESSURE and needs to be babied and carried by the rest of the team from the coaching to his fellow players.
If he starts in 2025 and it goes south for us again( which it will) expect another injury and this will be his final as the starting QB for the Cowboys.
The first major injury gave him his first deal as even though he was 1-4 the PITY effect (oh he's such a nice kid) worked magic and Jerry had to give him his deal.
No more PITY deals for this old horse (10 seasons in the league come next season) who has produced only 2 wins in the playoff stakes races.

There was definitely some sort of undisclosed injury in training camp or the off season. Did anyone notice that he had trouble throwing a spiral this year ? Almost every replay the ball was wobbly. Years past I didn't notice that nearly as often
The passes looked fine. Especially those at the shoelaces and missiles behind the WR's back.

I've had the same injury you tape it up and play the following week.
Then a year later I popped my Achilles, that did it.
