Sometimes it not about who's better but rather how you match up. I think Dallas has the tools to win this game. I'm not saying they will because, it's Dallas but, it's certainly very attainable if we play sound football.
Keep in mind you have Sean Peyton scheming up ways to isolate guys and looking over your defense with Brees. hes a very good coordinator so the defense has to stop whatever gameplan they come up with for Dallas and it starts with affecting Brees and not letting guys run routes all over the field. those are 2 things the defense is weak at though

The biggest weakness I see is Mo Claiborne. But, that's none of my business. :D I'm very familiar with Peyton. That's all fine ans dandy. I'm aware that The Saints are a good team and I've already mentioned that. I think Dallas is underrated. I'm not a homer, it's just how I feel. If you take away these dumb turnovers, all of the games we've played were attainable, or blowouts. This isn't like Murray to cough the ball up so much. If Dallas plays sound, we have a chance. God if anything, I hope the Refs pay attention to the damn game this go round.

Sunday fun day is around the bend and admittedly, I am hopping on the "This game is special" train. Now, in hindsight, all games are important. This one however, can really give you a glimpse of what we got.

A lot of us had a severely bad taste of 8-8 in our mouths (or worse) after watching The 49ers game. It seems this team has made a knack for playing sub par against good + .500 football clubs. Romo looked as good as done with his poor decision making, bad throws, lack of velocity, mobility and outside of Murray, there just wasn't much to be excited about. Yet, as week 2 and 3 went by, it felt like I was watching an entirely different football team. The physical prowess, the lack of quitting, a young team budding, Romo turning a corner, Murray imposing his will. There are a lot of things that get me excited. Not because I believe we're Superbowl bound. No, I see a franchise that is making strides in the right direction to be a good football "team" that can work it's way out of 8-8, finally.

Admittedly, I am a pessimist at heart. Yet, I can't seem to shake the fact that this is not the same football club I watched last year. In close, if what we have seen the past two games is true, The Cowboys may just surprise us all this Sunday. I won't take my pessimist hat off just yet but, I'll turn it around backwards and lean in to watch the games for once.

We gave up 450 to the rams. Get ready for a shootout unless we can run the ball and play mistake free for the first time this season.

It is the same football club in my opinion...with some added parts. The basic underlying operation is mostly the same. My apocalyptic predictions regarding Linehan have yet to come to fruition, but if I am wrong about him then I will happily eat crow ... and a second helping at that! Murray looks amazing both running and blocking, minus his fumbling issues... can he stay healthy? If he can't, then the Cowboys will have to acquiesce to "chuck-ball" with a quarterback that seems more sensitive to hits and pressures this year (at least so far). Linebacker positions are another troubling issue from a health standpoint. If they can't keep those guys off "questionable" and "out", it will spell doom for the defense, because you can't survive being taken apart at the point of attack week in and week out. The secondary is what it is and hopefully it is a bit better with Scandrick starting. This week in particular will stress the LB's, if Dallas decides to place one next to Graham, which I would not recommend. The Saints offense runs through that guy and when he is off, the entire offense will struggle a bit.

I know this seems a bit doomish, but we should be under no illusions as to the ability of the defense to suddenly turn lights-out. They will be a work in progress and hopefully Spencer can contribute as the season wears on. The Cowboys will go as far as Romo and Murray take them.

If both McClains and Spencer are back I have confidence we can stop the run. If we can chew clock on offense we will have a chance in the fourth

Saints have not looked dynamic in going 1-2...this is a winnable game if they don't turn the ball over...

This...I think the Saints have a spotless record under Sean when they don't turn the ball over. The fumbling issue reminds of A Peterson with the Vikings...how do you sit a player who is producing like he is currently? Presents a dilemma...one you hope that Murray can solve quickly or else. The Cowboys are not good enough to overcome early turnovers each and every Sunday. It will cost them dearly versus a historically opportunistic Saints offense...once there is blood in the water...well, you know the rest.

A lot of consternation down in New Orleans...where they fully expected the Saints to be 3-0 going into Dallas (and 4-0 afterwards). Bobby Hebert never misses a chance to bash the Cowboys, especially after a Saints loss...he's got some kind of fetish I think. Protect the ball...25 - 30 carries...no turnovers...bend, don't break...and hope for the best.

You kinda see what I see. We're physically trying to dominate the LOS on offense whether it's 8 In the box or not. The run game has helped that defense that's playing over their heads. I'm holding out hope that Spencer and DLAW can provide an outside rush later while we sneak some wins in early.

Count me in for possibly signing a young RT in free agency, while focusing heavy on more physical playmakers on defense. Especially in the trenches and on the back end.

Exactly...because 3 sacks in as many games is hardly a recipe for post-season play, or even division championships.

I'm confident between Randle, Williams & Dunbar that we could still run the football rather effectively with this OL.
