Game Day Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos | Postgame

I find it frustrating that the Broncos targeted Bridges around 14 times, but we didn't attack PS backup most of the game. Inexcusable.

They should have gone right after him and the rookie Barron instead of forcing it into Lamb being doubled by Moss and a safety.

Did not watch the game, my brother scored free tickets to the Spurs vs Nets game in San Antonio.

Looks like I didn’t miss anything, the Spurs won unlike this joke of a team.

Can they rush the passer and stop the run too?

I'm "never" a blame the coach for the lack of execution guy, but the playcalling truly sucked in this game. It was almost like he decided to ride or die with the passing game. And then it was like, Hey coach, they lead the the league in sacks. Well then, let's call a lot of deep passes, they'll never expect it.
I agree.....they should have ran a similar game plan to the green bay game where they got the ball out quick.

Defense was bad but getting down to the goal line early in the game and trying to throw set the tone for the terrible offensive showing.
Yep. After that interception, the offense goes right down to the goal line. It's looking like the Cowboys have come to play.

Then our coach gets cute on 2nd & goal.

Incomplete
Penalty
Incomplete
Settle for a FG

All Denver blowout from that moment on.

The correct coaching for that series was:
2nd Down - I-Formation up the middle with Williams
3rd Down (if necessary) - I-Formation, up the middle with Williams
4th Down (if necessary) - I-Formation, up the middle with Williams

ALL of our goal to go's from here on out need to be I-Formation, up the middle with Williams.

Oh, and never punt again for the rest of the season. The defense is that bad. It doesn't matter if you have to stop a short field or 99 yards, because this defense isn't going to do it.

In case you missed it the real Dak showed up. That 24 points is misleading. The last 7 was a Joe Milton bomb to Tolbert.
Dak scores 10 points regular game play. 7 points garbage time. Was holding the ball too long. Defense was bad as usual.

Absolutely agree! Williams and the offensive line would of surely punched it in.
How about that boneheaded Dak sneak the second time the were down there. They kept trying to make Dak have all the glory.

Yep, that was dumb too. It's like there's a 5th force of nature making this team do stupid things in the most simple of situations.

Dallas gets exposed and can't adjust. It's what, the 6.5th game for Matt E where the defense is just bad in every quarter?

Offensively, I expected more, even vs a good defense. Consistency was lacking.

Defensively, it is what it is. Years of misses in the draft, trading Parsons, lack of talent, some injuries and a poor scheme = 2013 all over again
For a DC that doesn't blitz, Parsons wasn't the savior, but not having one of the best pass rushers in the league was all but a big blow to a Coordinator that usually just sends 4 guys.

Osa has been a no show, EZE is still a rook. Williams is a disappointment, Kneeland may be just a solid DE etc...
Honestly, no linebacker playing this year should be on the roster next year.

We have, still hasn’t worked out that great

CeeDee wasn't even looking for the ball.

Im just curious. Was the 2013 defense this bad?

Thanks for the recap bro, I DVR the game in case I wanted to go back and watch it.

I just deleted it, LOL, not going to waste my time.

Gave up 30-39 points in 4 games, 40+ in 2 games, 50+ points in 1 game.
they ranked 27 in PPGA, mainly due to a few games where the defense gave up under 10 points.

The real low point was the Lions throwing for 488 yards, with CJ81 going for 329 yards of it.

Just a defense that was built up by Rob Ryan to be a cover 0-cover 1, man coverage the year before to go to the Kiffin Tampa-2 bend-break style.

24 would have you in almost every game

Except when your Dallas and give up 40+ every week
