Game Day Dallas Cowboys at Las Vegas Raiders | Postgame

Quarterbacks in the NFL are under steady duress and need to make off balance throws a lot.

NFL receivers are paid to make those types of catches. Not every single throw can be a perfectly placed dart.
I get it.

It was still a bad throw when he had plenty of time.

True. But it's not like it mattered. All it cost was a cosmetic touchdown in a game that was already won. Stuff happens and I split the blame 50-50 on Dak and CeeDee. It could have been a better throw. And it should have been a pass Lamb catches.

Ceedee got two hands on the ball and we are blaming that drop on Dak lol.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but the pass was no where near his feet. In fact, I am changing it to 99% CD, 1% Dak the ball literally hit him in the hands.

Exactly sorry Ceedee for hitting 2 out of 2 of your heads with the ball. Is wild people are blaming Dak. But that goes to show you Dak will get blamed for everything.

It felt good to win but, whatever happens from here on out, it's not going to be about the playoffs. They already played their way out of that. And, this idea Cowboys can win out and still qualify is ridiculous with this team. But, Jerry will peddle the narrative to keep interest alive and seem relevant.

I'm just going to say, the Raiders are dumb as hell for taking an RB in the 1st.
Someone said that Carroll is doing same thing Parcells did with the Cowboys and I agree. I don't think he anticipated the injuries on the OLine, and was happy with a bus driver offense with a veteran Geno, and a star RB. Not a strong QB draft. I would say they missed out on Jaxson but he already has as many concussions as Tua so not sure that's going to work out long-term.

A good get right game. I said the Raiders were real bad but it is still nice to win all three phases. Q is going to be a huge factor going forward, especially 2026 when more is added to the defense. Dak played good but Pickens is a DAWG, hope he stays around.

Dallas plays Philthy well usually, looking forward to next weekend
Well when both teams are healthy they typically split and they only lost by four points on the road in game one with a lot of mistakes made in the 2nd half but this defense as it were in the past was really bad except in the 2nd half of this game they only gave up three points and they had A.J. Brown and smith on lock held saquon barkley down..

Both teams has changed a little bit since then but at home yes the Cowboys do usually play Philadelphia pretty well and I imagine her out for blood because one they need this win two they can ruin Philly and three they had that game they shot themselves in the foot II think the Cowboys play better in that game and should have won 0 just like we should have won the Packers game I mean this whole season could be changed on those two games but it is what it is....

Have to play the Eagles and then turn right around and play Kansas City.

Who made this schedule?
It was probably made assuming maybe you can win more of the games you're supposed to like against the Panthers the Bears the Cardinals and you really had Philadelphia and Green Bay on the ropes you should have won both those games so three of those should have been wins and we wouldn't be as worried about this stretch...

But the Cowboys lost all their Mulligan's They they had no wiggle room i'm thinking when the schedule makers make these they're thinking that you would beat the teams you're supposed to beat you're supposed to win all your home games and maybe have one surprise in there so you know if the Cowboys were 6 and 4 or 7 and 3 right now versus where they're at we probably wouldn't be so against this stretch it would just be one of those things where you hope you can get 500 out of those games and you can still make the playoffs...

But that didn't happen...

:hammer:That might be the whackiest play I've ever seen in the league...in my 45+ years. I thought you had to drop kick it.....for it to be a legal onside kick. Just goes to show...the league has completely botched these new kickoff rules....to the point nobody knows WTH they are doing.
I think the Raiders were told that maybe dallas wouldn't know they could call for a fair catch and if they didn't it would be a free ball. When they called for it they didn't want to get called for interference. Carroll is a very smart coach. Considering the odds of recovering the onside kick with the new rules it wasn't a bad call to try it and hope the Cowboys would screw it up.

C was NOT expecting a pass at his feet. Terrible pass.

WIDE open....nobody around...throw it in front in the endzone!

We'll should prolly call it even 50-50.
Yes, the drop was about as bad as the pass. I don't think it should be called a drop when the receiver has to leave his feet to make the catch because he can't reach the ball.

I'm not letting Ceedee off for not catching it, but that was a bad pass. I mean it's like a 3 yard out. And it's not like we've never seen Dak miss that pass before. He consistently makes the receiver have to adjust to the ball on those. and most of the time takes any momentum away. Even if Ceedee caught it he probably wouldn't have picked himself up off the grass in time and scored.

The thing people refuse to see is that Ceedee knew full well he was all alone...and you head to the endzone for the pass. Not stop, not go back the QB, not head for the sideline. CeeDee had endzone in his head.

Dak had other plans.
