Game Day Dallas Cowboys at Las Vegas Raiders | Postgame

I guess if you want to pick nits, one area of concern is that Quinnen Williams was invisible in this game.

That being said, a dominant performance overall.

Looks like Mr. Evil and wants to take over the world.

Someone needs to explain the onside rules to Turpin and Pickens. They got luck the Raiders players were just as clueless.

Turpin put his hand up for a fair catch than waived his teammates off instead of running up and catching the ball.

Not sure what the Raiders were thinking just watching it bounce, it was like everyone thought it was a normal punt, not an onsides kick.
Ive never seen an onside kick punted. Its almost seems like a massive advantage to the kicking team. Like nearly a 50/50 ball.

  why is that? It's not like the Eagles' offense is playing well at all.

Most of the time, they seem to do just enough to win. Offense definitely hasn't been their strength this year, but if we can hold them under 20 like Detroit did, that's a win for the defense. For that matter, if can hold them to 20, I consider that a win. They have only been limited to 20 or less by the Chiefs, Giants, Broncos, Packers and Lions. Those are considered to be some pretty good defenses, although the Giants run hot and cold.

This was one of those no pressure, enjoy yourself kind of games. It has been a while since we had one of those. I'll take it. The passing game looked good. The running game looked good. The blocking started kind of shaky but improved as the game went on. Pickens was amazing, so fun to watch. Dak had 4 TDs, should've been 5, but I forgive CeeDee. He'll be OK. The defense looked much better with the new additions. Next week will be interesting. The Eagles offense sucks, but I'll still be impressed if we look good against them. Overall, it was an enjoyable game and I'm grateful for that. I will sleep well tonight.
You left out the biggest factor. All of this against the team that showed up basically for a low impact scrimmage type game. Raiders had no interest in even putting any effort into this game so of course we are gonna look good. If we don’t win one of at least the next two games probably both the way the wildcard race is shaping up, the season is over. And what do you think the odds of that are? This team is banking themselves for two years from now. Not even next season.

If only we could play 2-7 every week.

Story of our life. We got good stats at least.

I’m in the “both” camp.

Not a good throw.

Still should have caught it.
Just because a world class athlete can spin around & get their hands on it doesn't mean they should be expected to catch it. It was a horrible pass.

Right. The Raiders players needed to be more aware on that one, too. If they locate the ball, they could have jumped on it before it bounced to Pickens. Not sure, though, when it went the necessary distance. I mean, if it did in the air, they could have just caught it. Kickoffs don't have to be touched before being recovered.
