I was a little surprised at this, but not totally. Surprised only 5 LB's though. But still a week to go for the final roster.

Bengals have 7 WR's, 4 RB's plus 1 more on PUP, and 3 TE's. Just to compare

6 safeties, 4 CBs. That is odd. Must be special team related. They kept both McCray AND Frampton. 5 TE And only 5 linebackers. Things like this are the reason roster projections are never right on the money.
Two weeks into the season the roster will be slightly different, but for now, I'm really surprised.

Really the only thing i don't like about this 53 is that safety position. At least one of those last two guys need to go, imo.. for a LB or CB. Neither offer much value to this team, imo.
