When the Dallas Cowboys are on the table for discussion, you can bet that just about everyone will have an opinion whether it be half-brained or not. That was certainly the case these past two weeks when pundits blew up on everyone from beat writers to Greg Hardy. Let's dive in, shall we?

The Cowboys Will Draft A Player
Over the last few weeks, we've done our best to bring up a multitude of options for the Cowboys pick at 27 or what could be there if they decided to trade back. The one thing that I find laughable at this point is the fact that just about every draftnik is suddenly convinced that 50 or so players are going to gone by the time Dallas is on the clock. I'm no expert but methinks the math isn't correct on that one. That's the issue with the process of the draft, it literally starts when a team is eliminated from contention and drags on endlessly until almost May. At this point in time, folks are so exhausted of looking over prospect after prospect that they become like a herd of dizzy heifers. To that, I'll quote Aaron Rodgers...R-E-L-A-X. There will be some talented football players to choose from when the Cowboys decide to make their pick.
This happens every single year. Just like every year, players that weren't expected to fall will fall and others will be taken earlier than the Mel Kipers' believe they should be. The excitement is certainly filling the air, just don't turn the excitement into panic.

I agree with him about not being in love with any player in particular at 27, but that goes with the territory of picking in the late. You first round is not likey a cornerstone but a good starter

The thought of double dipping at DE is interesting. But I think it would have to be a bonus baby if want to get a starter at HB and a future starter at CB. I could see.....

Trading down to about 40-45 picking up a 3rd and drafting Ajayi, Yeldon or Coleman. Then grabbing Hunter at 60. Then getting a Josh Shaw, PJ Williams , or Darby with the first 3rd, and Frank Clark with the second. Defensive line is critical and also bust heavy. With this you hedge your bets and you also give yourself an impressive rotation
