I vaguely remember them kicking around those tax laws way back when. I thought it had gotten squashed. But 80% of states (41 of 50) DO have state income tax. So all three teams in California, the one in Washington State, the one in Vegas, the one in Missou, the one in Illinois, the one in AZ, the one in Michigan... the one in Carolina, the one in Massachusetts, the one in DC, the one in Baltimore, the two in Pennsylvania, the two in Jersey and on and on and on. Basically the Cowboys, Texans, Titans, Bucs, Dolphins and Jags are the only teams that play in no state tax states. Who am I leaving out? Basically 80% of their games will be played where they will be taxed. So it's not 3.5 million that Jefferson loses to the tax man.. Only 3 million.. LOL! Meanwhile guys who play in no state tax states play a minimum of 50% and as many as 70% of THEIR games with no income tax. So they're still coming out ahead.. even if by a slimmer margin.. an extra million is an extra million..
