There was a song by Charlie Pride some years ago and it was about the Dallas Cowboys. I searched the net and can't find it. I need it for a project. If anyone knows where I can find it in MP3 let me know. I appreciate the help.

I actually have the 45 in my Cowboys collection...

For you young pups... it looks like a giant black vinyl CD with a big hole in the middle... :D

Anyone have the Toby Keith "should have been a Cowboy" song where he changed the lyrics to be about the Dallas Cowboys?

I may be mistaken but to my knowledge it was only a music video composed by NFL Films and put on the end of the 1992 Super Bowl season video, no lyrics were changed but highlights were spliced into the video that made certain verses align with on field action.

One example being "Would've had a side kick with a funny name..." the video then cut to Aikman running through the tunnel, the camera fixated on the text written on the back of his jersey and so forth or "California is full of whiskey, women and gold" this lyric was accompanied by Dallas' venture into the Pasadena Rose Bowl for their championship triumph.

Then I have that one too. I need to figure out where to find Limewire files so I can send this.

The path says Documents & Settings, but every file I open is not these files.

I am looking for the Dallas Cowboys song I have had stuck in my head for the past 25+ years. I have been looking for a copy of the song for the past 10 or more years and have not found anything. I remember as a kid in the early 1980's listening to this song on a 45 on my record player, it has a country music twang to it and is sung by a male with a southern sounding voice. I will be happy to sing the song to help jar someones memory if needed. I just want to find a copy of this song to buy, download, steal, or what ever, someone PLEASE help me. To the best of my memory the song goes like this...

My woman thinks I don't love her 'cause I'm never around
She don't understand I'm a workin' man, and when I get off is when I like to get down
Now don't get me wrong when you hear this song, I ain't cheatin' or ruinin' my name
It's just that every Sunday I can't stay away from that damn Dallas Cowboys game

Now just give me a chance to see Tony D dance and let me watch Harvey Martin a while
I love to watch Ed Jones break the other teams bones, once I even saw Tom Landry smile
And number 41 the ladies love his buns and Rafael kicks me out of my chair
And if the Dallas Cowboys play in heaven you know I'm gonna be there

I hope that Philadelphia ain't thinkin' about commin' to town
cause when Everson Walls gets his hands on the ball, they gonna wish they'd kept it on the ground
and you can tell ole Ron to get his armor on and get ready for World War 3, cause when Randy White knocks out his lights hes gonna wish he'd never heard of big D.

Cause the Super Bowl just ain't the Super Bowl........ If the Dallas Cowboys ain't there.
