Damn, Cant believe Malcolm Brown DT isnt on the list. Almost seems as if we can cross him off our list of potential first round picks. Chances he was there were slim anyways but man.

Well, we can't know for sure but Dallas has been having the guys they end up drafting in to Valley Ranch, so you very well may be right.

It may be that they don't expect him to be there but he isn't rated so high that they wouldn't think there was a chance he slid. Maybe they really don't like taking DT in the first? We will know before too long, I guess.

I don't know much about him. What is it that you like about his play? Is he a physical CB?

I wondered that about Brown and you could be right. Maybe he's supposed to be in next week or something.

I just watched some tape on him. He seems to be a good tackler and has good instincts.

Not so much physical but he haS great ball skills. He went to Kansas as a WR and it shows. From what I've seen of him it's very rare to see him not get his head turned and make a play on the ball. His 32 pass break ups over the past 2 years is extremely impressive.

Charles Cook S Yale AS UDFA

Cook started off as a safety at Yale and was converted to a hybrid safety-linebacker position. He started every game for Yale as a junior and senior, and last season he had 54 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, a forced fumble and blocked a kick.

I was going to mention Shepherd. He's under the radar. I think he'll be a great mid to late round pick. I do one mock a year and I have him included in it.

Interesting player. He looks really good in the game footage that I saw. I can't really tell how fast he is, but he stayed right with the WRs that he was matched up against. He has some ball skills.

Yeah hard to say because he hurt his hammy in the Sr Bowl practices and hasn't been able to run a 40 since. He doesn't look slow but I'm guessing he's far from a burner too. Maybe something like low 4.5's seems to be on a few sites despite nothing official. I think he would do just fine in both off man and zone. Let him read and break on the ball, he'll definitely make some plays.

Yes, he looks fast enough. I'm not too worried about the speed of a late round pick.
