You know, they really have done a very nice job this offseason. The FA period (and Griffin) was really good... add in that draft and it could really change the trajectory of the team for this year.

Why cut Gregory? He is still young and under rookie deal. Nice rotation though plus you can slide Griffin inside on pass rush downs.

what if Griffen gets hurt, and alden takes a step back with off field DUI or domestic issues, and you dont' wanna
depend upon a rookie who still has to learn run defense (bradley anae) .. gregory's depth still comes in quite handy.
Take advantage of quality availability.

I only said he was an afterthought. Not an area of major concern at this time.

i too wanted Griffen over Clowney. ...i just cannot sit well with a 3 sack DE in Clowney.

i wonder what the terms and years are for. I didn't think he'd sign with us seeking that last lucrative big contract.

the few times I've seen Griffen he comes off as a more stout David Irving. Obviously not as tall, but he has that motor that keeps going.
