All we have heard for years is fans telling us they just wish Dallas would draft more like Raven & Patriots. Well they did. Balt tried to trade up with Dallas for Elliot and NE was going to use one of their 2nd round picks on Smith. And yet here we are putting out fires on this board.

We need help right NOW. Balt and NE have the luxury of waiting around for players to heal up. Also, if the guy they take a chance on craps out they can shrug it off a lot easier than we can.

It goes both ways. Had the Browns drafted Smith, everyone who likes the pick would be saying "Same old stupid Browns".

We were one catch away from the NFC championship game two years ago. I think we are in a better position to repeat that, MUCH more than last season (which was a curse by the football Gods... )as this offense can not only succeed but, THRIVE. We have Romo. I know. If... And yes, big IF... If Romo repeats 2014, we are IN. Defense is a concern. I'm not worried about the line. I'm worried about.... Secondary. A tad. Heck.., I'll throw my marbles on Claiborne. I'll believe. It's all any of us have have had to do for quite some time anyway. Every year is our year? I'm guilty of doin it. Drunk rAnt done but prolly not concluded. I love this board. Keeps me in the know. Ok .... Now I'm done.

Sucks. Dallas lives under the most lucrative microscope probe the NFL. It's good business to bash the boys. And it'll be brilliant if they do, in fact, win. Cowboys win or lose, are money. Throw the name (brand) in an article... It's literally like a Colbert bump.

Umm, Baltimore earned the 6th best draft position just like we earned the 4th.

I'm loving the draft so far.

Rd1: A game changer on offense. Defensive coordinators are now back to having to adjust their game plans. Do you try to take away Zeke? Ok. Dez has a field day. Do you double or shade a guy over to Dez? Zeke kills you on the ground. Incredible versatility.

Rd2: this guy is arguably the best LB in the draft. I love his tape and look e his heart even more. You can clearly tell he is dying to get on the field and he might very well be our next franchise player on Defense.

Rd3: A stout plugged in the middle that's active. Marinelli will make this guy go. Squats 785? What??? Although not a very sexy pick, I think this guy will fit very nicely into our rotation. Remember... the key to success on D is not leaving our defensive guys out on the field to dry. It's rotating fresh legs in. This pick helps with that strategy.

Glass half full guy out!

Dallas is definitely drafting for the long term, not for 2016. Im good with that.

The draft is not the way to go if you want to win right now. No rookie besides maybe a RB is going to come in and have an immediate impact.

Well, we got a lot of help with Elliott, but we don't have to panic with every pick. At the end of the day, when/if Romo goes down, we are 100% ****ed no matter who we draft, and the Cowboys know it.
