The game drew a 28.2 overnight rating on FOX’s broadcast, which is the highest for a Divisional Round game on any network in 20 years. It also shows just how much pull the Cowboys have when it comes to television ratings, particularly in the postseason.

By comparison, Steelers-Chiefs drew a 21.9 rating in primetime. Packers-Cowboys also beat out Game 7 of the World Series, which drew a 25.2 rating back in November.

If the NFL was fixed, there sure would be a lot of money to be made by a lot of people if the Cowboys made it to the NFCCG and beyond.

Trust me, they'll make plenty regardless.

The NFL can kiss its high ratings goodbye for the rest of the year.

Yes, the fact that the Cowboys didn't advance will definitely hurt the ratings and cost the league revenue. It could have been record setting during a time when league ratings are down overall. The networks have to be as disappointed as we are.

They don't care. Haven't we realized the NFL will do whatever it wants? Look at the Gregory suspension, the Zeke questions. Doesn't matter for whatever the reason the NFL does not like Dallas, yes the fans do, but there is just something fishy within the league office when it comes to this team. I swear after that Salary Cap fiasco it surely seems like they're sticking it to Dallas. I can't remember things being this bad prior.

One team and One team alone pulled the ratings out of the tank, but it doesn't matter the NFL will still command big money, because well it can.

Sometimes owner disputes and pettiness outweigh some millions here or there for billionaires.

It's not surprising, the Cowboys have been in the playoffs how many times the past 20 years? They are the most hated and most loved team. For all the conspiracy theorists that think the NFL is out to get the Cowboys, why would the officials cost them a win if they drew wuch big ratings?
