Dallas' LB Savior, Sonny Styles, LB Ohio State

I like Styles a lot. Very active and physical LB. Also brings size to the position which I think helps the defense in the run game eventually wearing down RBs and linemen. Prefer Styles way more than a guy like Allen at Georgia.
They definitely need a bigger lb in the mix If they are going to roll with Overshown. I like o but can't have 2 smaller fast guys there IMO.

Not only a great prospect, but a great name. Destined for great things in the NFL.

This guy intrigues me and I would love to grab but depending on how the draft falls I would not mind trading down and maybe adding some picks and maybe picking up Hill Lb from Tx or Jack Goldy ( I believe his name is )from Univ of Cincy. The lb Barton from Utah is also a possibility. I don’t how much of a difference all these lbs are

Ohio State produces great players. If a sure star is available in the first round, grab him fast. I love Styles. This team needs star defensive players who make an impact.
With the 2nd 1st rounder, get another impact player and not trade down and expect good leftovers. Select Zion Young from Missouri. "Zion Young looks like he was built in a lab to play defensive end in the NFL, possessing a good frame at 6'5", 262 pounds with long arms and tools that a lot of teams will be willing to work with. He also has solid strength to push the pocket as a pass-rusher and set the edge against the run."

not sure we have a shot at him but I would definitely take him with our 1st pick,he gets off blocks so well and can tackle.

With this draft the Cowboys should trade down with both picks and bring in 5 new starters instead of two. No real stars in this draft but lots of solid defensive starters.

They better not. Defense needs day 1 starters and we got two first rounders…
There are no sure fire blue chip defensive players outside of Downs and the Ohio state LB. We are likely to get equivalent talent with later picks.
And I'm not saying to trade out the first round. I'm just suggesting trading a little down within the first round.

As much as I would like a defensive end because of the position value I am starting to wonder if the Cowboys would be better off improving the linebacker, safety, and cornerback position. We have undervalued the secondary and linebacker positions for a long time because we depended on Diggs, LVE, Wilson, Hooker, etc…. To keep us afloat.
