I think that was Bruce Coslet and he used that play multiple times that season (2002) and I think it had good results each time.

One of the best tricks plays I ever seen was on the special teams in the Campo era when Tim Seder was the kicker, and it was the 2000 game against the Bengals in which he ran as if he was about to kick the ball only for the holder to hand it off to him straight up the gut of the Bengals special teams defense for an easy TD they never saw it coming it the Cowboys really did a good job of using Seder's skill as a RB in high school on that play was one of the best plays in such a dark era known as Campo.

I also remember that play; and if I recall correctly the Bengals only had ten players on the field at the time. Still was a rare bright spot. The Campo era was dark, but the Cowboys did play respectable defense then. Dallas just didn't have a quarterback. (My memories of those years is why I find the Romo hate so perplexing.)

Forget trick plays and just concentrate on executing your regular playbook really good .

Trick plays have always been a part of the game and there is a time and place for them. Garrett's failure to use them is part of his lack of imagination as a play-caller.

No doubt they did have some good defensive play at that time under Zimmer and yes the QB situation was a disaster with the likes of Carter, Leaf, Stoerner, Wright, Hutchinson, just to name a few and like you the Romo hate does irks me because of how many QBs the team had to go through since Aikman retired in 2000. Cunningham, Testaverde, and Bledsoe were above average QBs to the rest of the tryout QBs we had in the early millenium with some respectable play and then came Romo and the rest is history he is the best QB we've had since Aikman and here is hope that he can win just one SB to just silence some of his detractors and even if that happens it still won't be enough unfortunately then a new excuse will be created to diminish him from willfully ignorant fans, and even the brain dead media.

You know the one that can be pulled out at just the right time. I dug this old one back up and dusted it off. it's been so long it just might work. You know you guys love these. i do.

got to get it all covered including this one...you guys got anything?

I hope they use the one im waiting for, its real tricky its called "stop an offense" its a big hit around the league, other teams have caught on.
